Had hair to my waist, and used to pass off short hair people. I always told them I never caught anything until I grew my hair long. Fly it like a flag at 66 years old l had to shorten my hair, what's left anyway

Thanks for the great interview with BBB. Found Matt’s channel a while back and love his content. Found you guys through him. This video was exactly meant for me. I’m heading to the Fl Atlantic coast in a couple weeks and been trying to figure out what set up I need to be successful. Guess I really don’t need a 13 ft rod with an 8000 series attached to catch fish. Now if I can master the FG, I’ll be a happy camper, I mean fisher!

BBB is possibly the best teacher on YT. Gets his points across in a way like you’re learning things from your best friend. I lived near Memphis and fished for Bass mostly then Bream. I wished I had come across his channel when I first moved down here. Long haired Hippy freak LOL! My High School graduation the powers that be weren’t gonna let me walk across the stage to get my diploma unless I got a hair cut! People are so weird!

I’ve watched Bama Beach Bum for years. Learned tons from him very appreciated. I can’t find those areas on Indian Shores. I try to fish just inside the bar. Fishing has been so so. We are 6 miles from either pass. Is that or the beach filling the issue with the fishing here. Great fishing over the natural reef but you need a kayak ect. If you have an aluminum boat you can hear the rocks

I like 40 or 50 pound braid on my 5000/6000 class reels. It is equivalent to 12 or 14 pound mono and I can add different test mono as a shock leader which gives me versatility if I want to use 1 ounce or up to 4 ounce pyramid weights. I always use a shock leader with mono while fishing the surf backed by 20 to 50 pound braid depending on reel size. I use 2500 up to 6000 spin reels primarily for surf but do own a few Daiwa Saltist 20 class conventional reels for surf or peer fishing. I use 8' to 12' rods and do like the steelhead 9' MH rods for casting spoons on the beach. Never fished the panhandle so it may be a lot different animal than the Atlantic side where I usually threw 4 ounce weights while surf fishing or from the jetty near Little Talbot Island or Mayport side of Intercoastal.
