Tom, N8AI was sending 25 WPM and you did extremely well to keep up with making the video and the surroundings. I would have sent PSE QRS without compunction! Good job!

Nice contacts Tom! You were in an area where the mosquitos are well controlled. Trust me, there are big mosquitos in Florida. I lived in central Missouri for 47 years and lived in Fenton and St. Charles as a kid. I moved to Jacksonville, FL 15 years ago. My first home was in a populated neighborhood next to a large empty field just over my back yard fence. There was standing water along the fence and the mosquitos loved it. They would eat you alive at sunset...lol! I now live in a gated community with no empty wet field nearby and the mosquitos are well controlled. I have not got bitten in 4 years. I have commented on your videos before as KBØKDX but upgraded to Extra in Sept. 2019 and now KX4UL. 73's!

THanks for the comment.... I swear mosquitoes are my mortal enemy. It's either too cold for them and me, or they are out in force. I complain a lot bout them, but there's a reason. They kill me.

Mosquitoes don't like smoke, e.g., sage smoke is terrific. There are other kinds of smoke that mosquitoes will avoid no matter what. I do grow some herbs at home and burn them slowly to make smoke while I'm outdoors. In some evenings I cannot have dinner at all due to the large amount of mosquitoes.
