My Mum used to call me her "Rock of Gibraltar" when I was a wee one! Thanks for this episode of this beautiful place! Seeing it brought back wonderful memories of my Mum!!! She was such a strong woman she made me the woman I am today!! Again thanks for showing me where Gibraltar is and what it looks like ✌🏻💗😊❣️

Always great videos on your L46 ! Flybridge seems to be your favorite spleeping spot! Is it to avoid sea sickness or is it more confortable than the cabins or just to be all together? Good to know that we can beach a L46... Enjoy!
@SailingNohma3 жыл бұрын
Yes we love our flybridge!! 😃 It does help us against sea sickness but it’s mainly to be all together while we sail. Thanks for watching!!

Are you From Portugal? I can’t seem to find where you started? Did you have your boat in the harbor in Portugal? How long have you two been sailing? Nice places on here. My husband and I, from California, enjoyed the sites!

Nice Video, Just stumbled over the Channel BCS looking for Lagoon 45 sailors. I just hope you will not have the problem with broken bulkheads like some other owners of a Lagoon 45.
@SailingNohma3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! We'll look into it but I believe the 46's won't have these issues.

Hi, why are you going upwind to furl the Code0? Much easier to do it when you are on downwind. Less pressure on everything....

How much fuel you require to travel from portugal to carrebian...? U cant refuel in the mid ocean right!
@SailingNohma3 жыл бұрын
We filled up our tanks in Gibraltar, 1050 liters. If the winds are good you don't need a lot of fuel. On a sailing boat you want to sail as much as possible ofcourse, it's free. We did turn on the engines when there was little to no wind instead of waiting for the wind to pick up again. And we kept track of our fuel consumption, especially in the end so we wouldn't run out.

why beach the boat? No damage risk long term?
@SailingNohma3 жыл бұрын
Apparently it's a common thing to do with a catamaran. And for minor issues a lot faster and cheaper than hauling out 😉 😀

They are APEs not monkeys. Apes do not have tails monkeys do.
@SailingNohma3 жыл бұрын
Hahaaa yes we actually knew that but we are so used to say monkeys 😄 Allthough after your comment I did some research and read that it’s perfectly accepted to use ape and monkey interchangeably 😉 Thanks for watching our video!!
