I have just purchased the beadmaker and this test is an eye opener for sure. That Nano shock is great considering the price and that you hit it with 3 cleaning product. Its a great test but If I may, there are two other things you could do to improve the test process. Firstly, the pane is beat up and the surface contour is different on the left to the right. Secondly, when you put cleaner on, due to wiping one side at a time you are leaving it on one side longer than the other. You could spray and wipe one side at a time. Great test though. Thanks.

Beadmaker. Because it’s so easy to use and I’m not driving through degreasers or washing my car with them. I’ve never seen a shine like beadmaker produces. Therefore since I wash my cars weekly just use as a drying aid and or stand alone light dust detail spray rinse less wash. I’m not really stressing if it doesn’t last 6 months or not.

G.S.R use NuFinish speed shine. It’s like a booster for NuFinish between Applications of The Nu Finish wax itself. And it’s cheaper than most other spray products about 8.99 on Amazon They also have it at Pep Boys that’s where I got my bottle. It’s very thick and it does not run it’s very easy on and off and it does last quite a while and also boosts the shine a lot

Bead Maker is touted as having a wax like appearance and leaving the very smooth. It also apparently plays well with either waxes or coatings that may be on the car. If Nano-Shock provides the same there may be a shift in popular opinion. By the way I think this non combative approach to these reviews is so much better. Excellent video on the durability of both products. Little bit surprised at bead maker, thought it would make it to at least one round. Great video Jimbo.
@4score4 жыл бұрын
Here's my take on this review.....It's widely known that BM is not going to last more than a month at best, so it will lose to practically any other product in your torture testing. But that's not why people are buying this product. They're buying it because of the gloss and slickness. It is very versatile and can be put on top of most other products (ie - Seal N Shine for durability). So put your Seal N Shine on then top that with BM every other wash and you have the best of both worlds (gloss and protection). I was hoping you'd have more of a comparison of the gloss/slickness since that's what people are buying it for. Appreciate the video as always.
@wayniac345 жыл бұрын
Love the channel! I don't use BM for protection at all. I would suggest people not use it for protection. There are other products that provide better protection at a comparable price. I love BM for the shine and gloss. I haven't found anything else that gives my paint the same look for the price & ease of application. The whole "beading" thing is overrated imo. I would prefer more sheeting than beading but to each his/her own. Forensic Detailing put BM head to head with a few other very well known quality brands and BM out performed them all in gloss ( reflectivity ). He used a "gloss meter". I believe that was the only category it won but I'm good with that. If Nanoshock provided more or even the same gloss as BM I would certainly try it or possibly switch. Great video! Thank You!

Nano Shock isn't available in Australia (typical), and the Amazon purchase puts the 1 Gallon at U.S$52.99 plus U.S $144 to ship it to Australia. Total U.S.$196.99 after conversion for the all new low price of.......AUS $305.06 !!! I'll Stick with beadmaker thank you very much. I can buy 6 x 1 gallon Beadmaker here for that money. Go Figure.

i have been wanting to try out beadmaker but now you got me thinking twice. I seen nanoshock before. but never actually used it either. so I would say nanoshock. just for that extra protection.
@autodetailingpodcast5 жыл бұрын
Try them both. Their both inexpensive tbh.

jose quiroz Beadmaker doesn’t have great durability but it’s my favorite topper out. It has the glossiest and smoothest feeling finish out of anything I’ve ever tried. Just grab a small bottle and check it out for yourself. My current favorite combo is a base layer of megs Fast Finish topped with beadmaker every other wash.

Nanoskin might do a better job; but according to Amazon reviews they have lots of complaints over multiple years of terrible packaging (leaking poorly sealed bottles and crappy or no spray nozzles), residue in bottles that clogs spray nozzles, bad customer and uncaring customer service. This says a lot about a company and a business owner yourself, you know this ruins their product perception. Reviews from 2016-2019 have leaking bottles arriving, which I'm sure they are well aware of and haven't upgraded their bottles over 4 years! I would like to try it out, but am highly hesitant based on all of these factors. It's a shame.

VaporRipper That’s why you buy the gallon for $30 and put it in your own bottle.
@VaporRipper5 жыл бұрын
@@DM-fp8uw Then when it arrives, you only have 3/4 or 1/2 gallon to use... LOL. Those leak too! Read the reviews. I only usually buy by gallon; most cost effective way.

@@VaporRipper Well I just got my first gallon from Amazon. No issues.

@@DM-fp8uw that's great. Not everyone's been as lucky as you. Did it come in a well packaged box? just asking. I might give them a chance.

@@VaporRipper It came in a cardboard box with some air bubble inserts. The bottle itself was in a sealed plastic bag.

I don't understand your tests. Why do you remove the product after it cures?? Why not just throw some dirty water on both products and let it sit for a day. Then wash off and see what actually held up... What product makes it easier to be cleaned

Because that would only simulate one day. Not months
