That's so nice that your grandchild stacked all those willow logs 👍 Like that he doesn't get bored. The children of my 'garden' neighbors get so bored. When I work in the garden the little girl always asks me what I'm doing so I gave her some beans to sow them and the whole summer she was telling and showing me very proudly how the beans are growing.

If you have a small space or cannot physically tend a ground garden containers gardening is an option. I am disabled and will be 62 this year and I am looking to grow both flowers and vegetables in containers as soon as I find the small cottage I need. Unfortunately that won't be for another two years due to finances , but until then I m getting such inspiration from your channel. You are a blessing in a crazy world.

They can teach us so much, and help us with our mental health so much. My Madge gets me out to walk her, as without her I would not go out. I have become a recluse, and she gives me a reason to live. xxx

So beautiful. I reminds me of the best day of the year here for me in Australia. I live on a mountain, well, the Great Dividing Range which goes for 3700 kilometres (2300 miles). She is very at home with her position of best friend and she also is a good companion for the betterment of your life and she is very aware of the loving relationship that you both share. Dear Collette-your beautiful walk in the woods reminded me of a favorite poem by Robert Frost: “Nothing Gold Can Stay”. The first line(s) were in my mind as you and Patsy took yourselves off to see what is what today. “Nature’s first green is gold. Her hardest hue to hold…”. Philosophy aside, I feel so connected to nature as I hear the words in my mind. Perhaps you will enjoy it too. P.S.-thank you for the new advert placement. I don’t usually watch them, but I do let them play until the end. Blessings to you both

I love your videos. The lifestyle that they depict makes me both envious and soothed. I know you have worked very hard to create this wonderland of peace and rejuvenation and I know that perhaps I am not capable of doing that I especially love the walks with Patty. Talking about light. I know light is very important and plays a big role in affecting our emotions, moods, feelings and creativity. I compare the light in my country of residence with the light in my home country and my heart skips several beats. I particularly miss the light in the afternoon and note the difference with pain in my heart. When I visited South America I was amazed to see how different the light fell and how it colored everything so differently. The same in Australia. PS : Yes, kindling has gotten absurdly expensive. I often ask the gardener to get me some dead wood from here and there and collect it at the back of our house. We buy logs of wood for our outdoor fire pit.

Here in Holland it seems that Spring has arrived, but there are so many weather sayings(wisdom) that you can't be totally sure until the so-called " ice-saints", the saint days in the first half of May. Well, take heart! It's all good!
