Thankyou Colette for another interesting video. You mentioned a presence that you experienced and im reminded of what someone said, that they exist between earth and sky. Also, about medication yes people are finding out. Thankyou again!

I agree 100% with your Granny...It's not the dead you need fear, but the living! Our energies roll & shift into what The Mother needs. We are part of her & always will be. Once again, many Blessings & a BIG thank you for sharing Beltaine Cottage with us all!

I so love the gentle waking up that happens listening to the sound of your voice and the little sounds around you as you talk to all of us. What a wonderful gift you give us. Everything is so beautiful there. It really is a haven from the world. I think your Mother is so interesting and unique. The things you both say seem very valuable to me. Jack is just in his element running all around and smelling everything. I love the wind chimes. I love that the little robins have made their home there. The combination of caffeine and aspirin has been used for a hundred years to cure a headache. In fact the pharmaceutical companies put powdered caffeine mixed with powdered aspirin as a headache remedy. One is sold as BC headache powder and another is goodies headache powder. I think your way is best. I have been ill for 8 years now so I know way to much about medicine. I think the ones I take are more dangerous than street drugs. Yours is the best medicine my dear. A walk and talk in your beautiful garden. Thanks again for the lovely start to my day.💖

It is a lovely cloudy morning here in North Texas. Just a little cool breeze. I so love this type of morning. Seeing the lovely little pink rose reminded me of one morning this past week, as I sat on my back porch, I noticed a big fat luscious purple bloom on the Chase tree. I thought it had bloomed its last because of the leaves turning color and dropping. It was such a surprise and as I looked at it and the yellow butterfly tasting its nectar I thought this is it's final kiss to me before going to sleep. Love this video Colette. Many Blessings!!! JC xoxo

Another fine learning/teaching meander today! I love hearing your philosophies on all topics, passing on what has been passed on to you by generations long gone. It is remarkable to me, that things which I do now in my mid 50's, are the rituals that link me to the people that were part of my childhood. Those things which I scoffed at in my youth, are now precious, and performed with reverence and love. I've heard it said that youth is wasted on the young...maybe.

and a beautiful coherent thought it is. It's wonderful to have someone (your brother) who connects with the earth, your surroundings, the land and the lives lived there long ago. The land where I have lived since 1989 has an interesting history and carries many stories and 'secrets' that come alive during my walks in the woods. I'm grateful for these moments of revelation. Thank you for sharing!

Good morning from California💝. So good to see you and Jack happy in the gardens. Love your musings on the energies of the Land. Fits the 13 moon affirmation today, which is: pulse in order to reflect, realizing order. Seal the endlessness with the tone of intention, guided by the power of timelessness. Blessed be.

Collette, This video reminded me of a poem a dear friend wrote for me & I feel it is for you too..."Hail sister of the tump (cairn/burial mound)..where 3 be the number of Ash tree there & there be a riddle..a riddle of the ages long forgot, a riddle of time & time again..The faint voices call from the misty past; those ancient folk, those mothers of our mothers & fathers of our fathers & others...fearful..lest their voices be heard no more..WE WHO CHOOSE to listen are like the valley of echoes to reverberate those ever fainter voices..so that they be not forgotten..EVER... I'm sure your mom had a wee bit of fae in her :) hugs

Fascinating to hear about the burial mounds, if it's in your neighbors land they may want to try one of those machines that images what's in the ground. Also, hope your brother is feeling better! Part of the reason antibiotics are less effective is because of the scale they are used in industrial farming--pigs, cows, chickens, etc... all have antibiotics fed to them. That and overuse by the medical profession. Lastly people not taking the prescribed dosage, stopping after they feel better rather than taking the full amount. Even TB is making a comeback.
@sanguinelynx7 жыл бұрын
Your comment makes no sense as a response, please reread carefully. Over use of antibiotics has been written up in medical journals for over a decade, as well as some patients not finishing their medicine. Also the over use of medicine in animal agriculture. Lastly, no one said eliminate them, just there are reasons for them becoming less effective and strains of bacteria becoming resistant.

I think you're right, it was drilled in us for so long I forgot new studies were recommending that's it's ok to stop when feeling better due to the possibility of flora in our skin and body being negatively affected.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video this morning Colette. Listening just before I go off to work. Living on your land would be so inspiring and magical every day, its history is so very special, sacred and unique. Your books arrived last week and they are brilliant. Thank-you for all you are doing. I have Irish heritage so I need to explore much family history from my aunts and my Mum. My grandfathers name is Cleary. I'm thrilled to have Irish ancestors. Love from Australia :-)

Hi Colette, what a treat to find this video just before I go to sleep. It's Friday night in Australia of course and where I am, on the Far South Coast of New South Wales we have had lots of falls of good soaking rain, always a gift in this land of drought. But how I am going to sleep after listening to what you said, is beyond me. My head is filled with the 'rightness' of what you say, all of it from the presence in the poly tunnel to the addictions running rife in our society, I know these things to be true too. My mind wants to mull over all you have said and I can see a long night ahead. But that's ok. As an elderly retired woman I have time to myself now so I too, can plan for a sleep in tomorrow morning with my bad boy cat Kismet. At least while he is sleeping in my bed the lizards and moths and daddy long leg spiders that he supplements his (generous) diet with, are safe. Thank you again for these wonderful meanders through Mother Earth, as one of your many subscribers who can no longer walk, these wanders are precious beyond words. I can almost smell the damp, fertile earth...and your coffee! Many blessings.

Everything has a reason. A project like this one has deep deep significants. I think you honor the people who have lived birthed and died on the land beneth your feet with your dedication to the mother earth. And to think how lovely it would be to be burried under a garden. Personally it's how I would love to rest my bones.

What was the object that you found whilst planting a tree that you took a photo of Colette? You said you would look for the photo which was on a USB stick and then post the link for it, but you haven’t. It sounded like you found a archaeological object of interest. What was it, I’m so curious.🤔

Lovely to see the garden! We ( in parts of Ontario Canada) had a might dip to -10C last weekend and none of the plants had a chance to draw down their sap. One can only hope t this point that they recover next year. Even my kale has gone limp!

I would be very interested to read about what you uncover in regard to the history of Bealtaine and surrounding land. I also agree with your Gran, the living are the ones we need to be careful of, not the dead! My partner is from New Zealand and I have seen hills that look like burial mounds there too. There is archaelogical evidence that indicates that the Celts were living in New Zealand before the time of British invasion. Blessings dear Colette xx

I'm from Oregon (USA) and they have legalized cannabis. I have mixed feelings. I'm in support of the medicinal proponents of it but not the recreational use to get high. To me that's just another drug with a host of issues. I agree pharmaceuticals can be misused and the big drug companies have no guilt for the damage done.

Actually, I've heard that some of the experiences people have when they feel threatened in spaces they think are haunted can also just be symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning - usually it plays tricks on the mind, makes you feel like you're being watched, like there's a hand pressing on your lungs, that sort of thing. So that wouldn't be projection! Probably something to check out if people feel that way. Also, even if energy isn't created or destroyed, it can sometimes go other places. Just because we live in a biosphere doesn't mean there aren't other dimensions out there that are also part of nature, in their own way...? Just a thought. Interesting about Maeve's burial though... and definitely tell us if you discover more about the hill!
