I'm from Texas and I am technically a senior citizen, and we used that same position out in the hall when I was in elementary school. Funnily enough it served as the tornado drill position as well as the "duck and cover" atomic bomb drill. The theory being, at that time, that the internal hallway was safe from flying glass & provided more structural support. Placing your head close to the bottom of the wall where it met the floor also provided protection due to structural integrity. Placing your hands over your head/neck added at least a cushion of protection. It was never meant to insinuate that it would keep you safe from all harm but would hopefully give you a better chance of survival, even if you were injured.

He also claimed he had liver cancer then later pancreatic cancer. When it became clear that he wasn't sick he said the doctor just misdiagnosed him both times. He would fake seizures all the time. The worst of all was when he finally claimed he'd been beaten and raped outside of the apartment building. He actually pinned it on the boyfriend of another tenant. It was all a lie. After that he actually went to a battered women's shelter and convinced them to let him stay. I'm sure all the other actual women there were just so thrilled to have a man living with them. He was awful.

A note on the colour blind and Enchroma glasses and Logan: (yeah, it's long) I have severe red/green colour deficiency also, known as colour confusion and always incorrectly referred to as colour blindness. Mothers pass down the gene causing a full 7% of caucasian males to be afflicted. Something for product marketers to consider in advertising, me thinks. "Colour blind" actually refers to someone who is only capable of seeing in shades of black/white. Very few of us suffer from this. Most involve red/green or blue/yellow deficiencies. This deficiency/confusion means other colours can be affected as well as tints and tones of red/green. This generally muddies your perception of colours. The difficulty in understanding colour blindness is due to it's nature of it being very hard to fully explain the various nuances of colour perception. When my wife gifted me a set of Enchoma glasses we were on vacation in a beautiful, colorful Sandals resort in Mexico. Wow! They allowed me to perceive red within fields of green and to pick out other colours, as well. Colours within flowers and colours within paintings (and, everywhere else) became visible that were not previously. I won't see them the same as a regular sighted person but I could now "perceive" them rather than them blending to grays and muds. I would think most people would see the value of being able to better pick out stop signs in trees. Until recently, I naturally concentrate on shape and contrast to see things when others will see colour indicators like a red stop sign. I've been doing it since birth. My colour vision was not "corrected" but it was most certainly enhanced and expanded with the Enchoma glasses. I have nothing but great things to say about them because I understand the technical limits involved in 100% colour correction and have studied what is known about how we visually interpret our surroundings. In the 90s a doctor tried a red contact in one eye. I had one red and one blue eye for months but the experiment was ultimately a failure. Full "colour correction" may, by the very nature of colour itself, be impossible to "correct" but for people like me they open me up to a world I have never seen. Apples in a tree, art work, fields of flowers. All things that looked muddy to me now had a spark of life. And, yes it did make me a little emotional. How could it not? As far as Logan goes? Well, who cares. The guy's just another internet buffoon looking for attention in sad ways and people who relate to him will eventually grow up. Dont let a dufus like him hold you back by making something controversial when it's just misrepresented and misunderstood because well, he's a very successful, professional idiot / modern day clown. But hey, we all have passions and goals. His are just a sign of the times.

In relation to #3, there was an article where a far left wing journalist went into a restaurant in an old mining town where there were old pictures of the miners having their faces covered in the dust and grime from the mining process, and she proceeded to attempt to verbally rip the owner of the restaurant for promoting racism, and then putting an article about the restaurant and it's pictures into the newspaper denouncing its supposed support of blackface and other such racist activities.

I might be reading you wrong-an if I am, sorry ! but I think you didn't get what that one was actually saying. The man was not being called out for ' lying about having tourette's ', but an ignorant and smarmy little gobshite fake feminist saw his legs strapped ( forgive, as I don't know the name of the device ) and for some reason took it as him purposely binding his legs to keep himself from spreading them. It's things like that which make it difficult for real feminism to be taken seriously and seen for what it is. Not to mention that her careless post and prejudice put her in the position of taking the mick out of a disabled person. All in all, very insensitive post.

Just because people have different religions, that don’t mean to other one you don’t believe in is the devil or satan as the man said. Most religion have things in common whether it’s believing in a God to practicing the religion itself.
@zacharymcnutt15215 жыл бұрын
The difference between Christianity and all other religions is that all other religions besides atheism (which I don’t know if it’s technically a religion, but I know that it must be a horrible way to live) are about obedience and trying to be “good enough”, whereas Christianity is about accepting that you’re not good enough and repenting of your sin and accepting the gift of God’s great love. Worshipping another god of another religion is not directly worshipping Satan, but it is still wrong and therefore just as bad. All sin is equal, no one sin is worse than another, despite what our culture thinks.
@tinyahnoel81745 жыл бұрын
Hmmm....That does not make Christianity superior over the other religions. You can only learn so much from the internet about a religion. It’s better to actually be around people with the different religion to have a better understanding. Christianity is not the only religion that does that I believe there are two more. And speaking technical Christianity is a broken religion derived from another religion 🤷🏽♀️
