You really did your homework on this one! Instead of stating qualitative facts, you supported your statements with numbers, such as the number of light receptors per square millimeter. I appreciate this level of attention to detail. Great job!

This for me, is one of the most fascinating videos you've ever done and that's saying something 😮 Fact after fact, well explained animations to help understanding, absolutely Amazing!! When I was a kid it was thought dogs saw in black and white, science and understanding has dramatically moved on since. Some of these were bloody Astounding!! Then the Be Amazed animations, they're just so funny and add to the fun of the videos, 8:39 legging it from the lion 🦁? Awesome 😂😂 I'll definitely give this a second watch, too many fantastic facts to remember in one go ❤

I have a whippet, and although he seems long-sighted, and can't see things close-up as well as I can, his distannce vision seems to be better than mine - though it could be that that'sonly true in low light. I'll notice in future. He's black, so in can't see him in the dark, and I have a light-up collar - just like a clear, flexible, plastic rod.which has an RGB LED at each end. To my eyes, the green stands out best, but even though it is on his neck, and well out of his sphere of vision, it flashes, so I'd guess that he sees the light reflected from the ground - so I have often wondered what colour would be best for him. If he has blue cone cells, but not green, then I guess that green will be the least intrusive to him. He thanks you for posting this video!

The mantis shrimp got all the good stats. Their punch is similar to being shot with a .22 caliber rifle, and they can see in colors that our brain can't even concieve. The punch they give literally causes cavitation bubbles to form, where the water turns into gas for a split second from the extreme force.

Manta shrimp have a spring loaded claw, the claw does not actually touch the prey, it's the shockwave created when it is released. It goes off at the speed of a . 22 bullet, meaning if you put your finger near a Manta shrimp, it will break you finger bone, they have been shown to crack 1" thick glass, impressive
@briantalmage2041 Жыл бұрын
You may wanna check your facts about it breaking bones or glass. I have personally seen them go after my hand through a normal aquarium and hit the glass and do absolutely nothing to it. So if it couldn't break basic ass aquarium glass than there is no way in hell its shattering a bone. They are none the less absolutely incredible. They can super heat the water in front of the claw of the Mantis Shrinp though.

I was the 911th like lol. Honestly I'd have to say most of these animals including the humans actually see much better than I do. My eye sight is about 20-400 without corrective lenses, and I'm badly night blind. I can't even see my surroundings in the light of a full moon. I'm also blind to inflate and some shades of red, but I can see UVA and UVB, so I can see pretty well in black light. That being said, I'm not often around black light unless it's in my room. I make up for my inability to see by my other senses and most useful is hearing. I have the ability to echolocate to find my way around in the dark. I could find my way around in a cave without any lights, and I can feel if the stove is hot from across the room even if blind folded. I've adapted my other senses to be able to observe my surroundings without being able to see at all. Finding my way around a cave without any light at all isn't any different than finding my way around a dark house at night. I'm completely blind either way. I can literally hear the crisp crunch of carpet under bare feet when completely blind at night. I'm truly not your average human being. That being said, this was definitely an interesting video, and I think they're are plenty more Darwin award winners to be amazed by. I think it's about time for another one.😂😂

Bees - vision ; watching Bees , in a garden or a clover rich lawn , the bees know which flwershave been visited , and which have not . Most flowers continue , blooming , until all seeds are pollinated , which gives several days of repeat visit to the same blooms every day , at least once , as the lant continues to produce nectar - in its raw state , its like lolly water , when you pick the right blooms to suck on , & theres a knack to drawing out he nectar , as our toungues wont fit the flowers , so its a matter of sucking hard and fast - bees take a bit longer , to get the whole resivouíor - same thing with Butterflys , only they can get deep wells of nectar .

Falcons Has better vision, then eagles especially the pilgrim falcon because it’s the fastest animal in the world so it can see things and hide details when it goes in speeds up to 320 km/h and more, and they are incredibly good at aiming because when after hunting, Methhead is to collide with their prey to kill them with high speed trauma
