Thanks Roger....the only thing I had to do was adjust the bolt that prevents the grinder from stopping at a certain level ....after adjusting to the lowest point it was able to cut through the metal

Great video. I put the bolts holding the angle grinder on the inside so there is no space between the grinder and the green holders (as the bolts don't go all the way through). What you are missing from the video is the finder adjustments. The cutting disk has to be the same distance from the the edge at the beginning of the slide and at the end. I used a caliper's end stick to measure the depth from the end on both end. For the Z axis - used a level and and angle to make sure its no at an angle. The bigger things you cut the more noticeable the lack of precision (I would figure as I did not cur anything with it yet). Also, once you put that angle grinder in its staying there so buy another.

Nice for small projects. When grinding or using cut off wheels I wear a welding hood. Best protection. Nice review ! Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it does make straight cuts so long as you don't hog it. Bolting or clamping the base down is necessary on larger pieces. I have not yet had a need to make any angle cuts, but if I do, I will double check angle with a protractor.

Use the sliding action(gouging), more so than chopping. This will make your cutting disks last much longer. There are several "brand names" for this exact product and the prices vary quite a bit. The one labeled "YaeTek Upgraded Angle Grinder Stand" is priced better.
