Not only will his stats suffer as he'll undoubtedly face double teams all year, but the risk of injury will also increase as his workload and fatigue sets in. I saw nothing to suggest that USC's defense has or will improve as they get into the grinder.

@@jamesblunt1915, it’s not just the lines he’ll be facing, it’s the lvl of depth around him that will lead to him having to play 2x+ what he played with Georgia. That big boy got gassed Saturday against a lowly SJSU. Think how he’ll be against ND, Wash, Oregon and Utah (back to back with a rest against Cal and back to back again). He will be done by the end of the season unless conditioning becomes his number 1 concentration this season).

His handler is looking down the line when Alexander goes pros and signs a contract, so he can get a piece of it. The problem is, if he would have stayed at Georgia, he would’ve got developed better and be a higher pick. Now, we just have to wait and see.
