Yes!! I heard a Funny True Story on the News that some Bear in Yosemite broke into a Car & he spotted 2 6packs of Budweiser & Miller…..apparently he drank all the Miller & popped open 1 Budweiser but left the Budweiser behind….he didn’t like the Budweiser…he was later caught falling off a tree super drunk…..happened over 20 years ago…..True Story!! My Dad had a log house in the NC mountains and we packed heat for this very reason. His front and back security cameras caught them at all hours of the night. They never broke in but you can't be too careful.

People need to educate themselves on bears. My family’s vacationed down there many times. Black bears are usually harmless unless it’s a mama bear and she feels you’re threatening her Cubs. They’re usually just looking for food and one came down to a hotel I stayed at one time and was calm but people were dumb enough to go up to it and give it food.

Was there last summer, bears always around, had to have a spotter watch out for bears while you would be cooking dinner on the grill. Always had to make sure you doors were locked on you vehicle because they are very good at opening up your car door & rummaging through it.

Probably too much garbage left out regularly so the bears are getting habituated. I live in bear country too. Never leave garbage out, ever. Once many years ago, a bear came investigating in the middle of the night. I scared it away with a pot lid and pot, banging like crazy. Bear tore off and never returned.

We went through a similar situation for 2 days while we were up in Gatlinburg TN this weekend. We stayed at the "castle on the hill" cabin. Car alarms dont even scare the bears off or screamin n yellin. A big black bear opened n shut 3 car doors on my friends car. We had to have ppl keep an eye out on the cars while we loaded n unloaded to make sure they didnt come back

The moms the rough part just be careful,.no need to get too excited, cause they can be shot and baby's would be w/o their momma..they will not hurt you, I used to sit and talk with bears as a kid..they're just hungry and don't interrupt them,.I don't know why the ministries don't put out stuff in forest for them anyway, so they don't have to be near dangerous folks..since people build near or in their territory, it's not their fault it is their home first !

The poor bear probably went back into the woods and when the 20 Zyrtec started kicking in began suffering from its heart going into AFib followed by cardiac shock and eventually died of a heart attack. That is unless it died of ketoacidosis first from having an 800+ blood sugar level. Poor Bears Stupid Humans #Common Sense Tips Of The Day.... *Tip 1: Humans feeding bears is the #1 reason that bears are euthanized. Needless to say Never Ever feed a bear. *Tip 2: Use any and all locks on any and all doors. *Tip 3: Store all food in airtight containers, even if stored in pantry, cabinets or refrigerator. *Tip 4: Never leave food unattended on countertops, stove tops, in the oven or on the grill. *Tip 5: Never dump or leave leftover food in garbage bags or garbage containers that are not bear proof. *Tip 6: Lock all doors on all vehicles & never leave any type of food or consumable products inside your vehicle. Even if vehicle doors are locked a bear will still break a window out to get to a tasty bag of potato chips. *Tip 7: Worth Repeating Again..... Never Ever feed a bear. Acclamation to humans leads to a death sentence for a bear. Awesome video. What is sad is that people are infringing on wild animals habitats by building these cabins and other structures. You cannot blame the animals. They have no place to go. We are on their land. I'm a hunter of deer and see this all the time. A high population of deer and they have no place to go. And people just want to complain. Sad
