I was just out in Idaho Panhandle National Forest yesterday. Hiking down a closed logging road. Definite bear country. I was by myself. I sang Iron Maidens 'Wasted Years' and Monty Pythons 'Bright Side of Life' real loud when I got into thick trees and close quarters. My singing will scare off anything, bears included.

Unfortunately we can't feel safe anymore anyplace that is just the way the world has become always remember that you have a right to protect yourself

And democrats have made it that way.

Yeah that was sort of my point with this one. It apparently gets lost on most watchers though; I think I was too subtle 🙂

Those are not bear tracks, but manmade train tracks. 😉 Sorry, the sound was off.

I think it's hilarious that about 90% of the people watching this don't get it. I guess that's my fault for making it pretty subtle and putting the point at the very end 🙂

Really? Ok. Good luck. Make sure you tell someone where your going and when you'll be back. Just in case you come up missing. I'm not trying to be rude. You do need to be careful. Unfortunately that's the reality. You "should be able to go to places like that, but that doesn't make it safe.

Did you catch the little "joke" at the end?

You're missing the point. Watch with the sound up, and most importantly watch till the end...

My point is a simple but sometimes controversial one, and it's this: man or woman, we are all responsible for our own safety or lack thereof.

Even bears get more respect than I do

If I run into a bad man, Idahos government mandates that I must die from the inevitable ruptured uterus, instead of getting an abortion. I have a medical condition. I have yet to even see a bear on foot in the woods, but at least a hostile bear wouldn't drag me in front of a bunch or men to tell me why I have to die from a pregnancy I never wanted. A ticking time bomb of waiting to burst, vs an unpleasant mauling with a lot of adrenaline. I see more men than bears anyway. It's stressful living in my truck. Im saving my trucking money to get a hysterectomy to save myself ahead of time, since getting assaulted it common for female drivers. I dont even have to worry about bears. I must dismember myself of my own volition because of men and its costing me money I dont have. Best years of my life homeless paying medical bills just to live a little safer.

Sorry, that sounds like an unfair situation for sure. The overall political momentum in this country will make it better rather than worse, or that's my hope. Putting women like you in that situation was a huge mistake IMHO, and the price will be paid in November...

@@axarus Ill be sans my uterus before then. Not sure I will ever be able to pay downt the debt, but its better than being executed by the state for being forced to be pregnant by some criminal. Couldnt even make it to the mall and back without catcalls today and yesterday. Either I rot in mu truck with no exercise or I play with my life until I can get gutted. Should never have had to live under such a mortal threat in america of all places.
