A few people have commented theirs didn’t stay on to long. Not sure why it doesn’t stay on some. Other than maybe the surface didn’t allow good adhesion. Ours is still there after a year.

There are a few other bows I’d use first. This one would be a last resort. You would be taking shots within 25 feet with the valiant. Depending on your tip it wouldn’t do well. The bear Brave, Warrior, Titan and Firebird would be better choices from the youth line. The bows I listed are in draw weight order.

Anyone notice when the fletchings hit the arrow rest, it sends the back of the arrow upwards and ruins the trajectory of the arrow?

This this happen every shot or on occasion? I haven’t noticed it. I’ll go outside and try to duplicate it and see if I can help you.

@@freeworrior I went out to and shot a 20 arrows or so. I hit where I aimed, so I’m not sure what maybe causing your issue. Are the fletching positioned correctly, when they are placed on the bow?

Some of the notches on the arrows may have been installed wrong so the fletchings are not aligned correctly. These rests often fall off too. Quality control is severely lacking by Bear, which is a shame in that beginners can be discouraged by these flaws. Shame on Bear.

I bought this for my grandson. The rest broke after a few shots and the fletchings fell off the arrows.This thing is a piece of crap.

What would be the minimum age for a kid to use this ?

Bear archery has a recommended age of 4 to 7 years old for this bow. Our youngest child used this bow until age 10.

@@sirdeadknight That’s unfortunate that it has fallen off. 3M makes two very strong double sided tape‘s. One is 3M scotch extremely strong and the other is 3M Super strength molding tape. If you still have the arrow rest, the old tape can be removed & the tape replaced with One of the two I mentioned. Also on eBay and Amazon there are Arrow rest that will work.

@@Suciodan-uc9vz este es uno de los arcos de bajo costo. a tu edad podrás tirar de la cuerda hasta el final. el apetito del oso cuesta un poco más. por lo que es posible que tenga que ahorrar más dinero. Es un costo menor que luego se inclina por encima de él. también es un verdadero arco de compond.

Is the dl and weight adjustable on this? Specs list a range but another bear youth bow does too but isnt adjustable

Not adjustable, this bow is very basic. The draw weight that bear list is a min - max. From start of pull to maxed pull.

@@nateb4543 I’m not sure what is deceptive? Draw weights are a standard measure of pull on the bow in pounds. Longbows and recurves have higher draw weights and vary depending on the amount of draw in inches. When it comes to compounds, adjustment can be made like you were asking about. Compounds can have there DL & DW adjusted. (For those that don’t know) The valiant has compound looks. Bears info about the Valiants on the bows webpage. 16.5 DW @ 14-18 DL This bow can’t draw the standard 28”. Draw weights are measured at a standard of 28”. I max the Valiants draw at around 19-20”. I hope I could clear that up.

The basic Apprentice isn’t adjustable. The Older apprentice 2 and newer apprentice 3 bows are adjustable and come with great features.

I got this for my kid and ended up having to super glue it on there because it kept falling off. Great little bow, just arrow rest is aggravating. Lol Great video.

Plastics can be that way. Residues from the manufacturing process can remain on them or from previously being handled.
