What's the #1 thing you learned from Beardbrand today?

Noah Kagan that soft corn porn music makes every interview more “interesting”. ;)

Noah Kagan I loved learning that he kept going even though shark Tank didn’t buy into his vision...so many times I have been TV shows they didn’t choose me And I lost momentum worried about their opinion as if were up to them!! Great to see this story

Great interview with Eric! Since, I am a brand ambassador and youtuber for Beardbrand (Hello, this is Greg Berzinsky for Beardbrand..), I know a lot about the company, but you learn something new everyday, as I did from this clip. Great stuff. #KeepOnGrowing.

I usually expect a different temperament when it comes to entrepreneurs. The way Eric talks caught me off guard. I feel like most entrepreneurs are extroverts but Eric seemed introverted. A pleasant and refreshing surprise

Introverts can be successful too! It's just generally more tiring interacting with people than it is for extroverts.

SUPER niche business! I love it. Also, I liked what Noah said about helping others instead of asking for money ALL the time. I have been doing (for free) some simple tech tasks for others and now some leads are showing (coincidence? I don't know). Keep this type of videos Noah! I'm sick of overnight unicorns!

Hey Noah. I'm really enjoying these new videos where you interview entrepreneurs. I'd say the #1 thing I learned from BeardBrand is their relentless focus on growing a business by providing good content and value to their clients. Value first, then sales. 7 videos a week it's a lot, specially if the videos are really good and informative. Also now that they are a more mature business, they are incorporating more advanced ecommerce techniques to the mix. Like drip campaign emails, post purchase emails, cart recovery emails, fb retargeting in addition to adwords. That's cool stuff. Anyways, keep the videos coming Noah. Tacos al Pastor for you.

Great stuff Noah. I worry for a company that is built around beards, as it took 40yrs for beards to be cool again after a strong run in the 70's. Wishing longevity for every business, always!

Hey Noah, I love this format of video ! Thanks to you, we can have a glimpse of the behind the scene struggles of real life business stories and all the little hands and minds working behind. I think that 10-15 minutes are the best length (you can have an extended discussion in your podcasts) but what about filming in a more comfy atmosphere like sitting on a couch ? I believe it opens the conversation even more ! Oh and please put that camera on a tripod! People who feel dizzy from the image swaying as well, please like my comment so he can see it :)

How I see Beardbrand's success story: -The Shark-Tankers were foolish because in the "business world bubble" they live in, most people don't (or aren't allowed by their companies to) grow beards. But it's a bubble; it's not representative of the male demographic as a whole. LOTS of guys grow beards of all sorts. -Being on Shark Tank was still great publicity for Eric and Beardbrand that helped put them on the map. -Beardbrand's approach (sharing quality content that also introduces their products) has been so effective that they've captured a good chunk of the market selling overpriced products to guys who think it's worth it to have "the best". (There are plenty of other products out there that do the job for a fraction of the price.) -I enjoy Beardbrand's channel, and most of the guys I'm familiar with in the company are genuinely likeable and give good advice (when they avoid making thinly-veiled sales pitches for Rogaine, and that sort of thing). You just need to realize that their content is ultimately meant to sell their product (and partners' products) and not fall for the mistake of thinking you _have_ to have their brand to make your beard work. -If you like their products and don't mind paying way more than you need to, then go ahead. It doesn't bother me in the least that people make that decision. It enables BB to keep producing content that I consume for free ;)

NK, Nice work with this interview. I really like this guy, he his vision and a plan for business at a fairly early age. The guys on Shark Tank need to loosen up their ties abit. Look around Mr. Wonderful everyone is sporting a beard these days. That's how you get your MUNNN- EEEE back! In the end Beardbrand got a great moon shot and they worked it! Giving Giving Giving before the asking {Jab Jab Jab, right hook} Well done Team ! I'm a 50 year old kid who gets really inspired when I see honest, hardworking peeps keep up the great work NK

Embarrassing, haven’t heard of this brand - always found it hard to keep the beard in good nick while travelling...resort to coconut oil. I like how they were able to keep up with demand post shark tank and get everything ready before the mention in NYtimes. Could easily have blown both opportunities. Love how they trust their price as well! Respect. Enjoy these interviews, Noah.
