Beat Saber Camera Plus Mod 1.13.0 | Mod Tutorial (Nov) 2020

Camera Plus mod is to set up the different angles that you can capture in beat saber on your monitor screen. It does not affect what you see in your vr headset nor does it allow you to record from it. You need to use your own recording software to capture your monitor screen such as OBS Studio which is free and I use it for all my videos. 5:51 Memorize Camera viewer and profile scene. Remember to "Load Select" the scene in "profile saver" again to have the changes take place to what you saved when adding the movementscriptpath They renamed ScriptsyncUnity/Audio to "MovementScript " 1.) Right-click on the monitor screen 2.) Click on "Third Person" so the scene changes to it 3.) Click on "MovementScript" 4.) Click on "to Movementscript with Unity Timer" so it changes "to movement script sync audio" 5.) Select Example MovementScript.json 6.) You should see it moving. You can also click "Movement Off" to stop it. REMEMBER you have to match it with the camera viewer you selected and profile scene so you can input the script file path you want to run into movementScriptPath="[put file path to script you want to run here]"

Hey! I am on the Quest 2 and would like this mod. Do you have any solution so I could play on the Quest 2 wirelessly while having camera plus enabled? I read the description, but didn't really understand. Thanks!

If you're playing on quest, you can share the quest screen to the PC but you cannot had camera plus. if you want to play on your PC through your quest wirelessly, you need to buy virtual desktop, but if you play in expert or more, with the latency, i'm not sure than it will be playable

For some reason I don't see a "CameraPlus" option, although I have Camera2 that says "Adds a lot of options / tools for creating more advanced desktop viewing experiences with multiple camera angles and much more". I take it this is pretty much the same thing?

I can't get the menu to pop up! at :52 it says to hover over the beatsaber game with your mouse and right click on it and it should pull up the menu, but it doesn't do this. I do have mod assistant and the cameraPlus mod installed. Anyone know why it wouldn't be pulling up the menu?

For instance, A.) my avatar in the middle and as I’m playing the camera is moving around me as i am the center focus? Or B.) playing a 360 degree map and enabling 3rd 360 camera within which will rotate in the direction the beat boxes are coming from?

@@DLegionHeir Thanks a lot. Unfortunately I mean having a POV camera which records 360 degree fov. So that you get a vr video as a result. Thought about setting up multiple cameras and stitching the output together but maybe there is another way. Would be great if you maybe have a solution for this.

I haven’t come across a feature/mod within the modding community that does that so i think what you said before about setting up the cameras and stitching the output together will give you the result you want. But that is very interesting!

@Andi Batz You'd need an older version of beat saber with that version of cameraPlus, as the 38 camera option is the only way to record vr videos for beat saber. You'd need a 4k monitor as well, because the size of each camera view is really small. You might be able to find each camera's exact position, rotation fov etc etc but it'd be a lot of commitment

I see so you create a 2nd camera and place it wherever you want on your monitor screen and when you play a song that 2nd camera box moves from it's original position and resets. Is that correct? Did you disable "smooth camera" in the in-game settings?

I did disable smooth camera. Yes it is correct what you said. Btw, sorry for spelling mistakes (if there are some), I am from germany and i learned english in school but i can speak it well

I have beat saber installed in my oculus and for some reason when i open the oculus app on my pc none of the games i have on my oculus appears in the pc App Library is there a way to fix this?

There is not a lot of game that had crossbuy so by example for beat saber, if you buy it on the quest, you need to buy it again on your pc. List of every oculus games that had the crossbuy : www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/section/2335732183153590/

Yes you can only if you have an oculus link cable(connect to quest 2 to your laptop/pc) plus a beat saber version bought on either steam or oculus instead of the quest app store then download mod assistant. If you do then you can go ahead and follow the video.

Make sure to have beat saber off. Do not install mods when running the game. Make sure camera plus is indeed downloaded into the plugins folder of beat saber. You can check by clicking the options tab of mod assistant, then Open Folder. You will see the plugins folder, go in to confirm it is there. If it is, run the IPA.exe file that is within the beat saber folder and restart your pc. If it is not then there, go back to the mods tab of mod assistant, check mark camera plus again and click Install or Update.

yes just leave it as the viewer in first person. No extra cameras just the default it is at, layout, increase or decrease FOV

also if you don't want to use camera plus you can go into the game options, change the z offset so not only your viewer is having a change in FOV but what you view in your headset as well if you want

Make sure camera plus is in your plugins folder also look back into mod assistant to see if there’s an update for cameraplus as just recently there was an update BTS music pack release

@@ttg_neo you mean plug ins folder? It should automatically add camera plus into it once you check mark it in the mods tab of mod assistant and click “install or update” then run the game. If it’s not showing run the IPA.exe file within the beat saber folder

You mean the fov within the vr headset or the monitor screen? If you want more Fov within the game just go into the in-game settings and change it there. If its the view on your monitor screen you can change the fov in the layout section once you right click on the monitor to have camera plus menu appear.

@@DLegionHeir on my monitor screen, there are just two floating sabers, without the avatar. I customised my avatar in settings but it isn't showing... the sabers are just floating

@@atomic_typh00n66 so your avatar is showing in your headset when you’re in the avatar selection and you picked the one u want. But when adding a new camera and enabling it third person it’s only showing sabers and not the avatar. Try clicking the home button on your keyboard to toggle it on/off. Use page up/down to cycle through other avatars as it could just be a problem with that one avatar. Or perhaps when right clicking on the monitor and you bring up the camera plus menu you have the show avatar off instead of on. Try checking those.

@@atomic_typh00n66 oh sorry i was under the impression you were talking about custom avatars not the multiplayer base avatar. That I’m actually not too sure. I haven’t really touched the base multiplayer mode as the avatars are basic. I would assume you would be easily able to though possibly camera plus doesn’t work in capturing base avatars in multiplayer idk sorry. I still say to check if “show avatar” in the cameraplus menu will affect it in anyway when you right click on the game and enable it.

But yeah you could just ask your parents to buy you a music pack that you like or a selected few songs you know you would want to play. Though once that is done and you play it through over and over it will get boring. Sucks mods can’t be on ps4 cause then it’s not even worth buying the dlc.

The only way would be to connect the quest with “oculus link” which will then convert your oculus quest into a pc vr headset then buy the beat saber on either steam or oculus store and not the quest store. You can then download mod assistant and use camera plus. Besides that there is no other way to do it for the quest

@@execosp9303 yeah sorry about that! quest is definitely cheaper and portable but since it is not a wired pc vr headset it tends to miss out a lot on beatsaber mods. Good thing oculus link (cable) actually made it possible for quest users to use mod assistant.
