Best method for moving out villagers= move forward one month, save, go back in, move back one month, save, go back in, you have around 3 minutes before autosave kicks in during this time you should be looking for a bubble over the villager you want. If you have no luck just close the game without saving and skip another day forward, rinse and repeat until it works.

I understand that people don't like many villagers, but chances are that there are so many that do so you can let them have it. In this case, I love Pietro even though I usually don't like clowns. Just invite him so that you get others that you want eventually and go on with your playthrough. Don't treat him bad, it does nothing and it can count as interaction. Just don't talk to him.
