This is a weird challenge where the first hour is monotonous since the speedruns are so synced up but it becomes a lot more interesting when everything gets desyned. Also this stream is more proof Doug either needs to code a skip button for his TTS or raise prices because dear lord people are unfunny.

@@TemmiePlays I've watched Doug's live streams for a couple years and TTS definitely used to be more constructive than it is now. Maybe he passed a critical mass of viewers that'll make it horrible forever but I think he should at least try to combat it in some way. I'd even accept straight up removing it as an option, as disappointing as that'd be. Having TTS mostly off probably helped make the recent AI DnD streams so good

Also I think he is trying to combat it. Just completely removing it is completely off the table. Which tbh I 100% agree with. There's still more funny than non-funny I feel like and it works super well with his type of audience engagement.

OMG is *that* what's happening?! I honestly had no idea why the game kept flipping back and forth to seemingly lose progress. It looked like he kept hitting the load savestate button on accident but he wasn't acting upset and it was happening multiple times a minute. I've never watched something like this before and it made no sense. I really wish he explained how recording speedruns works because it looks like ADHD chaos. Doug. Allow me to leave a comment you will almost certainly never see. You said you only know how to do 3 speed runs. Maybe try using the shuffler to shuffle between the 3? Shuffle between three different runs of each of the three games, run succeeds once you beat each game once.

@@anguslazy Firstly, even if that were correct that would still be roughly 75 years. That's more than "a few decades". Secondly, a quick search online tells me that the mechanical alarm clock was patented in 1847 (a guy had apparently made one before that but he had only made it for himself; he never produced or sold any beyond that). Maybe you're thinking of the digital alarm clock, I'm not sure, but mechanical ones existed long before the 1940s.
