This just might be one of my favorite videos you all have given us! Thank you for sharing the joyous world of ocean sailing and vast marine life that lures us to each video. And let's not forget the amazing time on the HH55. What a dream to have the opportunity and the wonderful, kind people who gave you all the opportunity to share it with the world. Not everyone is generous to share their boat, and pride n joy, with others, but I might add we all are very lucky to be on this end and welcomed into yours alls adventures. Thank you to u all for the amazing generosity, the numerous hours of hard work, to give us this moment. 💗 you all are the best!

I'm always in two minds about the HH cats, they clearly have amazing performance and they look really cool but carbon is extremely poor at resisting damage. If you run into a whale or a container or something then you're going to take a hell of a lot of damage and it'll cost a lot of money to repair. fyi they do design the dagger board trunks to survive something hitting the dagger boards but those boards themselves cost as much as the average car, same probably goes for the rudders.

As an ex pro racing sailor I get excited for these types of wind angles and numbers. Those polars are similar to a high end race boat of that size and I’m super impressed. That luxury of having the speed if you want it is so valuable and greatly adds to your safety and ability to be flexible. I definitely think borrowing more from performance racing is the future of cruising where once cruisers thought racers were irresponsible. In reality light & high performance is safer & stronger. The sail inventory is flash and you can easily see the difference a top wardrobe of rags gives you in performance. Again the sailmaker here is borrowing from their racing technology. My dream boat would have a rudder system that you could lift up then life would so be perfect. Huge respect to the owners for using the floating anchor bouys. More people must do this if they want to cruise and not burden our environment. Like usual I loved your videography. You guys are making my getting up and going to work very challenging. 😂

the ehad ail sheeting angles are excellent so msny production cats dont even have tracks or rely on self tacking head sail which just dont have the power needed. i agree the excellleent sail makea huge different rather than basic white sails. probably last longer too

" In reality light & high performance is safer & stronger." You are so right. More people should go racing to learn how to optimise their boat. Keith with Zatara once complained that he didn't like sailing per se, just a way to get from one point to another. And that's because he's never really learned how to sail! Start on smaller boats that put you in touch with the wind and sea. The HH is an amazing machine, and kudos to these owners for getting godo sails and making her GO!

What a perfectly enjoyable moment with you. And what a great yacht. You are doing the HH proud! I went to their HH44 page for a refresher, and there were about 50 people who had come from your channel. The ones that left a message! Cacahuete is peanut in French too. Beurre de cacahuete if you're ever missing your peanut butter in a French grocery. 12 knots and 30 degrees off, that's amazing!!! The best I could ever drag my monohull 45ft with long keel was 6.5!!!! In 30 knots of wind in Australia... Sighs. Ps, could you make these videos like... 3 hours? The editing, the gentle music, great photography, a real delight. Thank you. Pps, Frank's flaking method is pure genius. I never saw this done before.

This was maybe your best video ever! Lots of sailing, lots of incredible scenery, and lots of peaceful vibes. It is obvious that Frank and Mary Grace knew exactly what they needed when they customized their beautiful HH. Every aspect seems so well thought out and planned for optimum enjoyment and use. In spite of being rather large, it appears to be fairly easy to manage with just the two of them and possibly even to single-hand if necessary. It gives me hope that if I can ever afford a catamaran it's possible to get one that would work for me even at my age, it's just a matter of having it properly designed and outfitted. The underwater scenes were just incredible, meanwhile, I keep thinking that I could make videos like that...then I remember that Jason is a professional with real talent. I may be getting as excited for your new boat as you are! ♥♥♥

I feel this. I've come closer to drowning than I'd care to in 4 different bodies of water. Once in socal in the ocean, once in the gulf, once in the Atlantic on the jersey shore, and once in a river in the smokey mountains. The key to not drowning is to stay calm and figure out how you're going to get out of thus situation. And a little luck, sometimes there isn't shit you can do. People die all the time at local lakes, they jump into 50ft of water with no life jackets on, which is fine if you can swim, but if you can't swim, you go to the bottom

Moving 9-12 kts over ground in a 14-knot gusty breeze while pointing 30-deg is what I'd expect from any catamaran having tightly tapered bows, using the jib more as a close hauled staysail and less as a genoa. "Ticket to Ride" has a cutter rig easily allowing for either. With the starboard daggerboard down, the physics overall centers the moment of effort more forward and less leward. That's how she points 30-deg when beating, without the crew taking a beating. Anything faster (over 24 kts!) is gravy while scrubbing the hull clean, as the crews' hair flies level with the water surface. Superb photography above or below water! Thanks to the Graces for their kind graces! Blessings, S/V Windwalker
