@retroreviewz the headphones are not wireless, you have to the cord into the headphones and you audio jack. the reason they made it like that is so if the cord gets damaged you only have to replace the cord, not the whole pair of headphones

Just because they have a monster pamphlet does not mean they are fake i have seen the exact same packaging at my local best buy even with the faded picture of dre. The way you can tell if the head phones are real is by doing a cereal number check on the beats website. If the headphones dont have a cereal number under the left ear cup then that will instantly tell you they are fake. Dont judge by packaging it just makes you look like an ass. If you guys actually didnt know which a lot of you probably dont beats split from monster some time ago and took to independence. That does not mean the headphones with a monster logo are fake it just means they are older headphones still in circulation. Dont be an ass about it and just check before you deem something illegitimate.

I got a pair of those the same day i got my iPhone 4. I think they're amazing. Great sound quality, bass, mids, highs, and do a pretty good job with sound isolation to get the most out of your music. I took them on a 11 hour flight and couldnt have imagined that plane ride without them

whoevers saying theyre not fake is wrong. yes these are fake. i have a fake pair and a real pair of solo hd product reds. on the real pair the solo hd on the box should be smaller and lower. plus theyre supposed to come in a plastic bag in the case.

@joshuaveliz I would say they are expensive... and i have this red pair... but if here were my reasons to buy them. 1. First off most nicer headphones go from 80$ and up. 2. Dr.Dre, a musician, made these headphones... therefore i know the music was in mind while these were being made. 3. They may only be HEADPHONES... but they are SO AMAZING. The bass never breaks, and becomes crackly... and the sound is so crisp and clear. 4. Not only are they amazing headphones, but a nice accessory.

I actually listened to this unboxing with my solo hd's on and I love them. The one annoying part about them for me is they do get I a little uncomfortable with them on after about an hour and and a half. I love your channel and keep cranking the videos out.

@SoldierKnowsBest Do you know if they were "Upgraded" I used to have the original black ones then sold them and got the red ones recently and was disappointed to find out that the cloth and extra cable were missing ;( The button has also been changed.

@Chillapilla0 solos are known for breaking... solo hds are reinforced and do not break whatsoever!!! they leave those white bend marks that you see on plastic! but they will not snap!!!

@TheDeadlyxRocker They've only started including those recently. When I got my Solo HDs from Best Buy in November 2010, it didn't have that catalogue. But my Studios that I got last month has it.

i prefer the white solo then. :) the white solos comes out with the new packanging. the box is now a color white (used to be red one) plus you'll get 2 monster cable. yes its 2 monter cable (one with the built-in control talk, the other one w/o the control talk. well, yea they're getting better!

i have the tours and the solo hd special edition , both pairs have broke , the solos have snapped and the sound has just totally gone on the tours , apart from that, i rate these very highly.

They might be fake cause there is no bar code on the bottom of the box while all of the boxes have the bar code on the bottom

i think iammusicmanXD might be right, the contrast on dr.dre's pic is lower than normal, and it had a piece of paper on the inside that said 'welcome to the world of Monster' which isn't normally in there

They aren't fake. Look on the Beats website and it has the same picture. The only difference between the real and fake ones are that the image is faded and more grainy.

I think these are fake, when I purchased mine (solo hd's red bought from best buy) I opened the pouch and they were in a plastic bag, also mine came with 2 cables one with the control talk, and one cable without one, also another thing is by the left earcup there is a little sticker that says "beats by dr. dre" with an I.d. number...
