Excellent review. Thank you in particular for highlighting necessary wattage for slicing frozen meat.

Great comparison, I subscribed! I like the additional features of the Vevor, especially I like the support bolt on the back side the keeps the meat tray from moving whatsoever. I also like the bigger knob and how it is scribed in and also li,e the additional handle up front.

First time seeing your reviews, love love love how in first 1-minute of video you give your quick opinion of both, which is better, but also why the opposing has its values if not price then etc. extremely detailed but also immediately to the point in first minute if I needed quick answer on which is better.

To get all the meat and not cut through the spikes, could you maybe use an onion as a barrier between the meat and metal spikes/prongs?
@BeatTheBushDIY2 ай бұрын
You need to grip the meat somehow. So an onion would slip. I usually just leave 2-3 slices and hand cut the rest with a knife.

Damn where I live this exact Beswood model is $800 but the Vevor is $400. Really leaning towards picking up the Vevor.
@BeatTheBushDIY3 ай бұрын
If it's half, I would be ok with the Vevor.
@MikeTrieu5 ай бұрын
Pretty decent comparison. I was hoping you would go into the ease of completely breaking down each unit for cleaning because I own a Beswood and removing the blade requires using an allen key and being extremely careful not no drop or accidentally cut yourself. Oddly enough, my blade seems to have two holes drilled through the middle on both sides that I think were used during manufacture to manipulate them. Those would be perfect grasping points for some kind of tool that could hook into them in order to aid in alignment when reinstalling the blade.

I was hoping for this too. I have some crappy slicer I got from family and need to find a unit that is easier to clean so that is the thing I want to know the most.
@BigheadedwonАй бұрын
There's a plastic cover with a handle you can buy. You put it over the blade after you remove the Allen bolts and it removes the blade without you touching it so there's no risk of cutting yourself. Same for putting it back on. It's really awesome.

Good review. Would be curious how the Beswood 9inch is vs the 10inch?

I suppose it could also work but sometimes different models are not built the same.

Does the Vevor slice fresh deli meat that ISN'T FROZEN???
@BeatTheBushDIYАй бұрын
Of course. Frozen meat is a lot harder to cut so it is used as a worst case.

@@BeatTheBushDIYHow were the results for slicer cutting not frozen meat in either slicer? Also, cheese?

Do you happen to know what is the rpm for each machine?
@BeatTheBushDIY5 ай бұрын
It doesn't spin fast nor does it need to. I would guess 60rpm, around 1-3 rotation per second.

I bought their cheapest small fume filter and let me tell you their support IS DISGUSTINGGGGG. I was missing two extra filters which were supposed to be included in the package and immediately informed them of this. 2 days later they asked me to send a photo of the catalog parts that were missing. OK a bitr weird but I did that. 2 days later they asked me to supply a VIDEO of the parts that I got from them !! REALLY ????? This is typical Chinese N O SUPPORT CRAP that i absolutely hate & despise as they will just delay delay delay . Think of this company this way--First they INTENTIONALLY MISLEAD you into thinking they are American but if that is true why are all their responses in brutally bad broken english ?? Secondly if they are giving me the runaround for such a cheap item (2 tiny air filters) then do you really trust or believe that they have even the slightest bit of support if anything goes wrong with their more expensive offerings ???? I HIGHLY DOUBT IT and am going to simply try and return the filter and give my money to other more deserving companies that actually care about after sales service not pieces of garbage like this company ARE

Vevor cheaper and better. Why not!

@@BeatTheBushDIY which technical specs made the Bestwood better? Does it cut more precise? Does it have more burley arbor for durability? Other than the price and fit and design, what does it do better than the Vevor based on your review?
@Digital_KyleАй бұрын
@@BeatTheBushDIY I agree that these look close, but the vevor looks like the better buy. Some aspects of better construction quality at a 1/3rd lower cost seems like a much better value. The Beswood would have to have significant performance increases over the Vevor to justify it. What are we missing?
@marathonergrlАй бұрын
I read Vevor has no replacement parts, so keep that in mind. You can get replacement blades for Beswood and other parts.
