Beautiful Beach Agates Found | Rockhounding After a Storm | Bay of Fundy Nova Scotia

In this video we make a short notice trip to the beach to rockhound some freshly turned over agates after Hurricane Teddy passes through the region. We also have a vistor join us, cousin Tiffany from newfoundland. Agates are scarce in Newfoundland, so she was excited to find her very first Bay of Fundy Agate and it was a beauty!

Tiffany's first agate is the find of the day! I remember finding my first agate when I was 8 and it brings back great memories, and I still have it! I really like that biggest one you found from that area, and the little white one with about 30 bands on it! So cool :)

11:04 is my favorite! I know where that comes from too....a stunning seam a few inches thick and 15-20 feet long in a cliff up the bay a ways. Now and again you can find it scattered 'round the shore. Great find for the cousin! I also like 8:11.

Omg I’m watching this and we have a huge tropical storm heading our way . I live in south eastern Massachusetts and it’s the best time cause the high tides move all the big rocks bear the end of the beach around . It’s fun I bring the family sometimes and sometimes I like to go by myself . Great hobby and enjoy fantastic video

4:41, pretty little guy. I have found a few just recently on a hunt, rain was pouring down and I was taking cover in the bush, looked down...low and behold. I never even knew what agate was until I watched you guys. Keep it up.

First time watching your videos. So impressed. I grew up in Amherst NS, so spent quite a bit of time on the beach but never really noticed the rocks around the beach. NOW I'm a rock hound but mainly in the Great Lakes as I'm from Southern Ontario now. Now I just want to go home to find some of these beautiful agates.

Wow! More great finds. Find of the day goes to 12:26. I’ve been watching many of your videos lately & want to thank you and your boys for inspiring me to dig out my Lortone 33B after 25 years or more. My grit kit from Kingsley North should arrive today (thnx for that heads up also!). I took my kids hunting for rocks & fossils when they were young too and these videos bring back great memories.

I live in Arkansas so I couldn't choose a "Find of the Day" but whichever one was that young ladies find, I pick that one! We have Diamonds and Quartz Crystals but you have to pay to get into those places. I long for a beach with wonders at my feet. PEACE

Honestly I didn't really know where Nova Scotia was on the map. I knew it was above me in Michigan, but I've heard of it from a lot of movies and tourists things. Now after your videos I want to plan a trip if cov!d would ever let up! I love all the variety and scenery, great work guys! I know about 8 to 10 hours north of me on lake superior are some amazing agates I might hopefully find some day soon, but the agates you guys find are awesome and unique.

Nova Scotia rocks are not well known in the rockhounding community either. Something i'm trying to change. There are world class specimens here and the geology is amazing. Thanks for watching!

i'm an old fashion agates fan, so it's the one at 12:25-12:28 with very clear concentric banding all over it, then... the carnelian filled center.

Oh man I don’t know what that red glowing rock is at 1:14 at the end of Noah’s feet but it keeps catching my eye everytime it’s on camera... hope y’all picked it up lol. My favorites y’all found is the flame agate at 5:48, 13:53 e with all those crazy bands, love the band pattern with the contrasting white against the darker tones at 7:25 is that quarts/agate? All those small flat/thin specimens would make awesome pendants polished up. The one at 13:53 I think would make the find of the day. Thanks for sharing bro.
