Those three bold boys and your relationships with them are the precious treasures, besides all these rocks are precious, so you are the lucky father and hero for these lovely boys.

Thanks!! That Stilbite is actually a rare form of crystal habitat (bladed). And I have never found bladed stilbite crystals that big in a specimen before. I'll be going back for more for sure.

Agate pipes?! 🤯 I had no idea they even existed!! Bring a jackhammer next time! ⛏ That spot has got some incredible geology going on! 🪨🌊 A really well done video, too. 👏👏👏 I just missed my buddy Travis.

Thanks! Travis is in a huge creative mode right now. All he wants to do right now is make crafts and build stuff. It's awesome but cuts into his rockhounding time. His rockhounding hobby plays second fiddle to his artistic hobbies. But he'll be back!

Do I get a prize if I say how many times you said galaxy stone? Haha Well...you only said it twice...but you wrote it three times. The one you found at 5:47 is 🔥✨ 6:05- DAMN those are some wicked stilbite specimens! Nice! The one in question at 6:45 I'm not sure on...but it could be prehnite 8:45- Nice one Chase! You are an agate magnet! 11:24- that one is what we call a sugar agate around here...way cool! Looks like a great spot with loads of goodies and history. Thanks for bringing us along. Cheers boys!

What great beaches you have to rockhound. Great rocks and appreciate you have captions with the video educating at least me. Have you or any other rockhounds use an angle grinder to cut rocks? I got a 10" saw for cutting but won't bother to take it out of the box until spring since I'll have to do that outside. I'm in Northern Michigan. In the meantime I'm thinking of using my angle grinder in the basement to cut small rocks. All you guys cutting rocks have me anxious to do so.
@RockhoundingLife
@RockhoundingLife 3 жыл бұрын
I personally don't use an angle grinder but I know other KZbinrs that do. An angle grinder would be good if you want to have a smooth surface on a bigger rock that is too big for a tumbler. I cut slabs and then use the DIY set up for polishing that I showed in my polishing rocks video. Be careful using the angle grinder in your basement as it will create alot of dust and you don;t want anyone breathing that in.

I had a UV light but it broke not too long ago. I just haven't gotten around to replacing it. To my knowledge our beaches don't have very many glowing rocks but you never know, its worth a shot!

What was that little blue one ? 12:07 in the video !
@RockhoundingLife
@RockhoundingLife 3 жыл бұрын
I'm not entirely sure what makes up the blue part. The red is jasper with quartz. The blue/green could be a bit of malachite. You can find native copper in the cliffs of the Bay of Fundy.
