I remember that day! I had gone up to Lincoln to do some craft store shopping, things seemed ok but the weather turned nasty pretty quickly. I got paged and found out my friend in Bennet called and told me to "don't bother going home, there's a bad storm with apple sized hail heading towards Beatrice, just come to my house!" Well my animals were home alone and all I could think about was them so I raced home as fast as I could. I just caught the tail end of it, had a few good *clunks* hit my car before realizing how crazy I was. I got home, shoved the car into the garage and got inside. Luckily no windows or anything were broken and all my animals were ok. Was a busy and likely profitable rest of the summer for any roofing companies!

Had this cell been faster moving this cell would have developed a large very very dangerous and deadly tornado IMO

How long had you been there when the sirens finally went off?

Around 10 mins in that location. When I said "finally" I did not mean that it took too long... just relieved that they were on.

I live in Beatrice, moved here 3 years ago. It's not so bad.

@@Wulfgeist It looks like a nice place. But it is a big country, so I will choose a place without tornadoes. And without the cold.
