Wow I had forgotten this song, listening years later sounds so different than before... I loved the rhythm but never really put attention to the lyrics, now it's like such a powerful message. After going through difficult times and situations you begin to appreciate more what the song wants to transmit. Again loved ur reaction and your comments during the video!!

Em' has many songs, they say he can't sing but neither do I. And you know what's great? I can sing along on this one without sounding trash lol and it also cheers me up when I feel sad =) I'll love this dude forever, seriously. Stan?

If you like this side of eminem you should check out "nf" he was inspired by eminem to start rapping and people also refer to him as "recovery eminem" which is the album that this song came out of. Even with all the similarities nf is still his own artist alot of his song have this orchestral beat behind them and he also tries to help people who are struggling with depression. The song i would suggest you check out is "the search" by nf. A far warning this may spark what people call the "nf journey" because almost all of his songs are connected with him releasing 4 albums in 5 years they all interwine and tell a story.

Hey man, are you on any supporter platforms (having a "Thanks"/donation link, Patreon, etc.)? I love your videos! BTW his movie is called "8 Mile" (I just heard you ask that). As a fellow rock fan (although interestingly I was listening to "The Slim Shady LP" and remember when "The Marshall Mather LP" (1) came out when I was in middle school (yeah my mom was cool), but then got into some rock/rock rap/"nu metal" like Linkin Park (Limp Bizkit was one of them, along with Korn, Papa Roach (although mainly for that riff in their one hit "Last Resort"), etc.), along with many others (such as Disturbed, which you mentioned in another video) and then eventually Tool (discovering them through "Lateralus", which is amazing of course, but I would say "Ænima" is my favorite, but I like "Undertow" and their new stuff) , Meshuggah (starting with "Nothing"), Between the Buried and Me (starting with "Colors") and a bunch of other bands but those show the progression well enough probably. (I would say Tool is still my favorite band. I'd say my two favorite musical artists are Tool and Eminem). I've also recently been getting into Logic, as well (and your poll, despite being overwhelming in favor of Eminem, which I would probalby side with at the moment, is a little unfair because I'm not sure people have gone through Logic's discography. I'm still going through his earlier stuff ("Under Pressure" mainly at the moment) album, and have yet to hear a bad song). As for a song recommendation I would suggest "Just Don't Give a F***" by Eminem from The Slim Shady LP (interestingly it has the reference to when Mike Tyson punches him in the "Godzilla" video (which I saw you said you love) and is playing in the background. It's a reference to the probably the most famous upset in sports where he got knocked out against Buster Douglas. I would've probably said "The Way I Am", too, but I saw someone else already did that. I also would suggest "Remember Me?" from The Marshall Mathers LP (1), on where he has one of the sickest set of bars in his verse (which is the last of three, the second being amazing by Sticky Fingaz). It's actually hard to pick because of how many great songs he has. Maybe I'll suggest, for a more funnier one, "As the World Turns" from "The Slim Shady LP," and "Not Afraid" for a more serious, inspirational one (although you've probably heard that.) to add to my existing suggestions. I also really like "Deja Vu" from "Relapse" (which he unpacks the progression of drug addiction and eventually overdosing very well). Feel free, of course, to ignore all these suggestions but figured I'd add some to your list. Anyway, sorry for the wall of text, but again just want to say I love your reactions and I think we overlap quite a bit in interest (I'm just getting back into rap/hip hop after starting there, I'd say - well...my dad had Bruce Springstein and Van Halen and my mom had Fleetwood Mac so I guess I started there young). Again, if you have any way to financially support you please let me (all of us) know. I'd love to donate regularly to keep this channel going in ways more than merely subscribing and liking.
