Hi, Laura ,🙋‍♀️ reminder, you don't do hanging baskets because in y'all's high summer heat you were having to water twice a day. Jenny from Creekside fixed it for me. Put a saucer or shallow bowl inside the pot.

I’ve been excited to see this video for inspiration! I was diligent about taking photos of my garden every two week, I even set a reminder. I was excited to share this year with you but I didn’t back my photos up and I dropped mg phone which was run over a few weeks ago. Completely destroyed my phone and I lost all of my flower photos. I’ve learned my lesson and will be shooting every two weeks again this growing season!

@@kathyelseroad3166 - I do not like iCloud holding my images. I do a manual backup to my laptop but I didn’t back my phone up for months. Luckily, I texted friends photos so I way able to recover some from messages. Not a total loss but the chronological sequence is gone.

I love watching these videos and getting inspiration from other gardeners who share their spaces. I have an 8 year old son who watches your videos with me on a regular basis and will be designing a flower garden of his own on the west side of our house. We will have to have him take some photos of what he creates and share them with you all sometime in the future. He also wants to start a KZbin channel of his own to inspire other young gardeners. I’m pretty exited that you will be doing more of these kinds of videos over the winter as it really helps inspire ideas and chase away any thought of winter blues.

Good Morning- Benches! You have mentioned that the beautiful iron railing was made by a local artisan. Would they possibly be able to make you benches that mimic that pattern? This was great to see. My favorite was the one from Edmonton Canada. I’m from Calgary which is a city south of there, so I am aware of how very cold it is. I am AMAZED they did that in Edmonton. Wow, Everyone's garden is incredible?! 💜 My garden submission was small lol! but keep the inspirations coming cause even though we can't grow same as everyone's or vise versa we can substitute it with native plants. We had 75 F yesterday and I rearranged some of plants like Laura said "if you don't like the plant removed it or plant it somewhere" 💜and planted some wild flowers seedling. UGH, I just love being in the garden it feeds me!🌷🌻🌼 Ormond Beach FL Zone 9B

Laura you need to put shade loving plants that comes on later in the season. A plant that is full and lush after your hostas are fried from the heat. Plant them close together so when the hostas are done you don’t notice the empty space.

What beautiful pictures! I’d love to see more pics of sloping landscapes surrounded by woodlands.. Most of the pics were on very flat surfaces with trees planted by gardeners. They were all beautiful but hillside gardening brings so many challenges and I’d really love to see how others meet that challenge!

Ohhh, how beautiful 😍these gardens are full of different colors, ( lots of Ideas) the Italy 🇮🇹 garden was gorgeous and the one in Oklahoma I know how it is been in the Military, living on base alot of restrictions, after retiring we bought a house in our home town there was no landscape just the house, took us about 2 years to do the landscaping the way we wanted. This is very inspiring. I wish I had more time to spend in the garden. My dad passed away last summer. I’m wanting to help my mom out more in the garden this year. I’m thinking about doing a cut flower garden to the empty spaces since there isn’t going to be as much produce this year. It should bring more bees and beauty. Since I’m off on Monday I should go see what’s at my local garden center!
