you should open a sailing school for kids in Florianópolis. It's very easy, you just have to pay attention so that none of the kids get drowned and tell them how a sail boat works.

@ I don’t know what kind of shithole you visited in Brazil, but that’s definitely far from the good stuff the country has. Also, different from US houses, in Brazil they are made of real concrete and can’t be blown down by a little wind. Brazil is not safe to invest this kind of money. And I'm not taking just about personal safety, private property is not always guaranteed with the mess in the government and supreme court.

you can't just take all those bad things and apply to brazil as a whole. The country is massive, Florianopólis is a pretty safe city overall, even more so than some cities in the US, the south is relatively safe. As for goverment and supreme court, as long as your income is not coming from Brazil itself you should be fine. Supreme court is not doing anything to you. This is coming from a Brazilian expat btw.

I agree that in some cities in Brazil you definitely need to be careful about crime but others (in particular smaller cities and towns) are relatively safe. Also it is a good idea to always use a lawyer when buying a property to make sure there are no legal problems.

It's incredible how this channel inform people with real information straight from the source, and even that misinformed people have no ability to fully understand and do not believe how safe and cool this part of brazil is. misinformed people. "private property is not always guaranteed "? I have lived here my whole life , I havent seen any problem owning a property.. my parents have lived here for their whole life.. they have not seen any problems. How ppl say such things without knowing.. Maybe they watch too much news.
