I WISH!!! I work as a teaching assistant and the teacher was nervous about having a conversation with the class about body odor. It was a 3rd grade class and they smelled so bad. That classroom after recess and PE was AWFUL. She was nervous about the possibility of having an offended parent or being reported. I took on the responsibility and potential backlash and told them about bodies sweating, getting older, the need wipe and clean correctly, daily showers, etc. I told them I started deodorant when I was in 3rd grade as a way to let them know they too can ask their parents for it.

Hello, Dr. Nina. I just want to remind you of TMAU victims. I’ve being praying for these victims for a while now. Bringing awareness to people about this disease will keep them from thinking people smell just from not taking baths or showering. People are going to think what they want to think anyway, but bringing awareness to it might help them think twice. Thank you!

Thank you Miss Latoya for bringing up the topic about TMAU I know someone who was battling TMAU and he has tried so many soaps, diet changes...... Going to the doctor, the doctors don't even have much to say about TMAU and the cause of it. So yes, I totally agree with you bringing awareness about TMAU is very important
@TheQuietGirl855 жыл бұрын
You are correct. Sometimes its not the outside but the inside that brings odors. I sweat tremendously under my arms. I had to change my diet. I went vegan, drink spring water, and added alkaline herbs like Sea Moss and herbs that clean your gut. I knew my microbes were off in my gut too so I need to add good bacteria back to my body. I added kimchi, a fermented food and felt the change immediately. I eat a couple bites in the morning and a couple bites at nights to add probiotics back to my gut. For the first time in a long time my underarm sweat has reduced to almost nothing! It sucks dealing with issues you have no control over but there are things that can definitely reduce BO.

I suffer from hidradenitis suppurativa. I was changing my deodorant often. My dermatologist recommended I use a deodorant called drysol. You can get via prescription or you can order it off amazon. This deodorant is a game changer. Plus my dr suggested using a skin cleaner that doctors use to scrub their hands with. I use the cvs brand. Use the skin cleaner under your arms only. Let it sit for a few minutes. You can apply the drysol at morning or night. After a few weeks you should notice that you’re not musky.

I was born and raised in Houston, TX. The humidity coupled with the heat is like no other! Tips I would add: 1. Drink 16 oz water as soon as you wake up, and before bed at night. 2. STOP 🛑 ARMPITS! Use Certain-Dri anti-perspirant at night on clean, dry NOT RECENTLY SHAVED pits at night and Thai Crystal (solid or liquid) in the morning. 3. Shave EVERYTHING at least once a week. 4. Use talc-free powder IN BETWEEN (not just on top of) folds of skin. 5. Keep a 2 oz spray bottle with 91% alcohol on your person at all times (great for travel.) Spritz critical non-mucosal areas (back of neck, armpits, underwear, hands, belly button, feet, etc.) as needed during the day! I put a few drops of baby powder essential oil in my spray bottle. This is also good for spraying toilet seats, pillows, grocery cart handles etc. This has saved me $ over the years you would not believe!! Oh, and those perfume samples? Put them in your gym/travel bags. Great to pat armpits and groin areas in critical moments. Hand sanitizer works too in an”Oh I forgot my deodorant!” pinch. 6. Always wash the face, ears, front AND BACK of the neck at the same time - these areas are one aesthetic unit. 7. Do not soak pearl earrings or necklaces in jewelry cleaner.

I like Arm and Hammer deodorant, but I have discovered that it can only be a winter time deodorant for me. When I wear it in the summer, it is like I have not put anything on. I specifically like it because it does not have aluminum and etc...

Yes, I use oils, particularly coconut oil on my underarms after I shave or trim. My skin will be irritated but I need some type of light deodorant protection as well as soothing and moisturizing, coconut oil is fantastic for that! Organic Evco.

Great video. All of Native products are natural. I been using the deodorant for 3 years and the body wash for 2. I’m in healthcare and I appreciate you educating other about the importance of a clean body. This is totally off the subject but in your video you have some white pull-out drawers, where did you get them? It also it gets real hot 🥵 in Katy, Texas also.

I loved Native! I user it for 7 months... However, it started breaking me out at 7 months😔. So I'm back to my Dove deodorant until I try Kopari (another natural 🙌🏽)

I use antibacterial hand soap under my pits. I have seen a major difference. Along with Native deodorant. I also exfoliate at least 2 times a week. I use peroxide on the back of my ears weekly. I also soak my earrings in peroxide. I use deodorant under and between my breast. I also rub a little deodorant on my inner thighs. Especially in the summer. I clean my belly button with a q tip and peroxide weekly.

I love your videos. I can always use these tips. I normally just use dove deodorant, maybe I’ll try the native. I don’t skip any part of my body when I wash. I do rub deodorant between my thighs and it helps with sweating and prevents chafing.
