Notes: 1. Find your natural scent - Stand in the shower for 3-4 hours without putting on any products. Determine your private’s natural scent and discharge. 2. Shower daily and deep clean problem areas - Shower at least once every day. Make sure you get rid of bacteria on your pits, belly button, feet, etc. sweat + bacteria = smell. What you eat and how clean you are affects your smell. Wash your genitals with your hands and a pH balanced product and go to the bathroom before showering. (She didn’t mention this in the video but PLEASE DO NOT pee in the shower, you animals). 3. Use a deodorant or antiperspirant - If you have areas that are particularly smelly, use deodorant. Carry these products with you when you are leaving your house. Shave regularly because hair holds onto body odor. Use clear Dial soap to wash your pits. 4. Know the difference between a deodorant and antiperspirant - Deodorant kills bacteria, causing there to be less odor. Antiperspirant stops sweat by plugging your sweat glands. (A LOT of deodorants and antiperspirants have bad chemicals so read your ingredient lists! You can use INCIDecoder to find out what the ingredients mean). 5. Rub in your deodorant properly - Let your skin absorb it so the product will work to full effect. Her DIY deodorant recipe is at 7:21. 6. Use other products to deodorize your body - Carry wipes with you and clean if needed. 7. Avoid polyester and spandex - It collects bacteria and body odor. Wash these after every use to avoid odor. 8. Layer lotions, creams, butters, and oils - This makes scents last longer because moist skin causes the product to stay on longer. Do not keep your face moist because this causes fungal acne if your face is too moist. Find a perfume that works with your natural scent. Apply it to your pulse points (the back of your neck, the inside of your elbow, your wrists, your lower back, the back of your knees, belly button, collarbones, hair). DO NOT rub perfume in. Buy roll-up ball perfumes. 9. Take care of your breath and teeth - Brush your teeth at least twice a day for TWO minutes. Floss daily and correctly. Particles of food between your teeth will ROT and give you a breath deadlier then children eating tide pods. It will also cause tooth decay. Drink water to avoid dry breath. Go to dental appointments and replace your tooth brush often. COVER YOUR TOOTHBRUSH and buy a UV toothbrush sanitizer. Trust me, sistahs. 10. Wash your clothes, sheets, genitals, and underwear consistently - Do not let clothes pile up! Wash clothes every day and sheets at least once a week. (Also keep your house clean and odor free). Do not overly wash your genitals and change your underwear at least once a day. General Washing and Body Odor Tips: 1. Clean and disinfect your earrings. 2. Wash your hair regularly (especially if you workout)! 3. Don’t wear as much tight clothing. 4. Wear more natural fibers like wool, silk, and cotton. 5. Avoid spicy food :( and stuff like garlic, broccoli, and onions. 6. Wear breathable socks and shoes lined with leather. Gives yourself a pedicure and remove dead skin from yo feets. Do not wear shoes or socks indoors. 7. If a smell is unusual or won’t go away, SEE A DOCTOR! Seriously, don’t get hurt...

I have three kids ages 7, 7, and 18 months, and I work two jobs while going to school full time and actively starting up my own business. If I forget about a load my husband started and don’t switch it over within 24 hours, it smells like musty mold and/or mildew. Shit happens. But I also wanted to drop a helpful hint to anyone out there wondering... you can add a cup of vinegar to all of your loads of laundry, AS LONG AS YOU ARENT USING BLEACH, and it will knock them odors out. My baby will sometimes lean through his diaper (like poop comes out the leg holes if it’s not caught fast enough) and the bigger kids just flat out get into some stinky stuff while playing sports or playing outdoors. That vinegar knocks shit out quick!!

My mother gave me a great tip for maintaining a pleasant scent all day...she suggested that I bathe, wash clothes, use deodorant, etc. without any fragrance or scent. Doing this allows the perfume or scented body oil to really come through. I used to combine fragrances and learned that they didn't always blend well. By only applying a perfume onto a body and clothing without scent, has really helped my perfume to last longer and be more pleasant.

I can offer some things as a large woman. Under the breast when they're large can smell so it's advisable to make sure they are not only clean but disinfected with something like tea tree oil. And a nice preventative once it's clean is Vagisil powder. It also stops the itching if it's present. As far as your perfume choices those are both fabulous and I think dark skin women do really well with spicy Florals, or complex Florals. 1 classic fragrance is Angel by Thierry Muglier, and even older as one called opium. It's that bottom note that makes both of those work really well on darker skin. Lighter skinned women can get away with fruit notes and musky notes. One really great line is L'Occitane, and one I recently found is Juliette Has a Gun... go to Sephora and ask for some samples! Finally essential oils are amazing and lavender works on any skin color. Plus it's very relaxing once it gets in your system. Hope this helps.

@typ24564 жыл бұрын
Yes, coconut oil is a neutralizer and I use it everywhere. Additinally it can also be used to massage your cuticles/nails to complete your glistening after the shower.

Can you please tell me which ban deodorant you use please?
@marisajanine10094 жыл бұрын
One of the things that I do is after I showered and you know fully cleanse my body. I take a neutral smelling oil like olive oil or Aloe oil. I mix it with perfume oil or an essential oil. And then I slather that all over my skin in the scent usually last all day.

honig maroni but it is. Extra fat or skin, specifically rolls, breed bacteria since it’s more moist due to sweat buildup. It can also cause rashes and it’s generally harder to clean these area’s. So yeah, if you’re overweight or obese, you will generally not smell that great unless you are very aware of it at all times.

I learned a trick years ago from my grandma to keep a bar of soap in the dresser drawers, which keeps them smelling fresh after the wash until they are ready to wear. She always used the pink Dove soap, but now I use the strawberry Olay and I love it! Nowadays they also have those in-wash beads and other nice fragrances, but for me since I can’t use super fragrant laundry detergents, I notice that for me the bar soap scent on my clothing doesn’t irritate my skin. It’s everyone’s personal preference, some people don’t like that bar soapy smell, but I love it lol!

Just read this. My Nana taught me this too. It's so lovely to make undies and socks smell of nice soap. Especially since I can't use perfumed soap on my skin. Instead I use non soap cleanser.

Thank you so much! My job hours are 9-5, and by the time it's around 3-4, every once in a while, I'm like "what in the____is that smell!" I'm being honest. Thanks for the tips. I also learned that if my pillowcase, scarf and hat smell like a hot shoe, then my hair stinks as well.
something that helps me because it's TRUE deodorant dont last long. carry some wipes in your purse, so that during the day wipe your arm pits and re-apply deodorant. Also, Summer's Eve has wipes to use while on your period and you are out somewhere and need to change your pad or for any time you want to freshen up until you can get home and shower. that also helps to cut down odor during the day, to wipe away the sweat down there.

Tea tree oil is very good for alot of things . It's a antibacterial and kills fungus . On hot summer days when I wear tennis shoes and walking all day I try to lather my feet with coconut oil and a few drops of tea tree ( I keep it mixed up in a mason jar or I soak cotton balls in the mixture and keep them in a sealed zip lock ) . also it's good to add antiseptic mouthwash and a few drops of tea tree to a foot bath once a week . And during the winter I like to apply at night on my feet and then put socks on to sleep . And also like someone said below watch your sugars , foods with yeast and spices for BO
