I did see on Penn Smith that red light therapy on eyelids might be an upcoming option (recent episode). Love the idea of your shampoo, plastic everything is such an issue) I am now subscribed 😊

Shelly, that is so fricken funny! I did the exact same thing to my Clarins Total Eye bottle too, after mine failed! It would have been a real waste to have thrown it away w/o getting every spec of that wonder cream out of there! It’s expensive! I think I need to try that No 7 & the Tight Eye too! Goodbye $$$$💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸! You must try Prequel Lucent C on your facial sun spots! It worked WONDERS on the sun spots I have on my hands (followed by sunscreen)! They started out darker brown and after 2 months they have faded by half in color! The stuff is what dreams are made of I tell ya!👌🏾

I learn so much from your channel. You are an endless source of great information. I have tried a couple of No. 7 products (foundation makeup and moisturizer) and have really enjoyed them, so I am following your recommendations for No. 7 Future Renew Serum. They currently have a sale for a bundle of 3 products Renew Serum, Renew Night Cream and Renew Eye Cream for $79.99 that I am considering purchasing (GULP!!), but I know it would be worth it. Thanks for sharing, Shelly. Until next time.... 💖

No 7 is one of those brands that I wholeheartedly trust. They have solid research behind what they do and it's all formulated to the European standards, which are more strict than here (which I like). I do always wait for bundle deals and sales because it gets pricey, but they come around pretty regularly (and that bundle is a great deal!)

I’m curious to know, at what strength tretinoin does it not make sense and retinaldehyde becomes just as effective. Like you I could not stop peeling no matter what and I was at 0.02 for years only using 1-2 times per week. Retinaldehyde has been great, but I wonder if long term I’m better off using a super low strength of tret? Also, that nivea sunscreen is on Amazon, I love it too! I also think you would enjoy Scinic sunscreen. It’s a white and teal bottle, under $10 on Amazon. It goes in and out of stock. I’m a sunscreen junkie and it’s my favorite face sunscreen. It’s similar to the skin 1004.
@goow5 ай бұрын
There's definitely a tipping point between the OTC retinol options and prescription tretinoin. My preference is the low dose tretinoin, mainly because it's already in the body's usable form, so the dosage is likely more accurate. The OTC retinols have to be converted by the body into a usable form, so what you're actually getting as the usable dose can be estimated but will vary from one person to another. But there are other benefits of the OTC options like typically lower cost and ease of access. If I suddenly couldn't get or afford tretinoin, I'd have no qualms about going back to any of the OTC options.
@aliciapaul1325 ай бұрын
@@goow thank you! I’m debating trying to lower strength and hoping I could use consistently without being in a constant state of peeling. I hope you keep us updated on using the lower strength, would love to see how it works out for you.

Shelly, you crack me up. Okay ladybug, cut that foil insert and get the rest of the goodness inside. I have to do that with the Medic8 Crystalized Retinaldhyde and it’s frustrating as these products are expensive. I was shocked at all that was left behind in my tubes x3. Andddd why have you not switched over to Agency( Curology’s sister company)? It’s geared for Anti-Aging where as Curology is geared for Acne? Just curious since you will soon be turning 50. I never could adjust to their formulations. Never a day without horrible dry, peeling skin and that was using hydrating serums and moisturizer first; waiting a good hr., then applying it. Also they have a Dark Spot Formula to use with it for hyperpigmentation. I’ would love to try your shampoo bars. My hair is very fine and very long and no body whatsoever! Great empties video. Thank you.

I have issues with texture. Should I exfoliate more or is it moisture issue. When I get a facial my face is so smooth but can’t keep it that way
@goow5 ай бұрын
It could be a little bit of both! It is for me. I suspect for me it's leaning more on lack of moisture, because when I stay on top of doing 7-skins everything is more smooth. But I also tend to slack on exfoliation and get flaky, so I know that is contributing. Have you tried doing 7-skins?
