Notice how, in the prison, the camera work made the cell bars disappear from Iroh and appear in front of Zuko!

I love how the original author gave us two absolutely AMAZING protagonists who would be the main keys to resolving the main conflict. Zuko and Aang’s stories parallel each other so well, and it’s AMAZING writing to see both Zuko and Aang go through so much change in how they perceive and view the world.

The story elements and cinemetography in the show continues to astound audiences, decades later. Truly one of the greatest shows ever written and televised.

The revelation that one of Zukos great grandfathers was Roku truly comes out of nowhere and adds a great layer to the strife he goes through. And that technicaly makes Aang Zukos great grandfather aswell, since he is Roku reincarnated lol I believe this is the first scene we get with Irohs new voice actor after the original passed, RIP to the goat, and I think he does a great job at doing Irohs tone and delivery. Book 3 just gonna get crazier and I can't wait for more!

I kinda feel like Aang and Zuko are like Distant cousins In spirit, Because Aang also is his own person with his own Soul. it's just that a piece of his soul is also Roku.

This is the first step to understanding that Ozai's ambition, in marrying Zuko's mother, who he knew was a descendent of the avatar, is the seed of Zuko's uncertainty.

In Spanish, we have the word "consuegro" to refer the parent-in-law of someone's child (suegro is the Spanish word for parent-in-law, and they just added the prefix "con" to refer equality)

Sozin and Roku sharing the same birthday is so cool because they both had equal chance at becoming the avatar

I’m so sad that this is getting close to the end… watching these episodes after school about 20yrs ago, and having your mind blown was something else. I’m glad yall are just as passionate as I was back then 😂

I like how iroh doesnt even know atm that aang is alive. So even still he believes in zuko enough to leave his familys legacy to him. Also aang isnt blood related to roku. So theyre not anything

Firelord Sozin’s son was Azulon. Firelord Azulon forced his son Ozai to marry Avatar Roku’s daughter to blend with the Avatar cycle. Firelord Ozai’s true reason why he does not love Zuko. Ozai could see he had a kind heart unlike Azula (named after Firelord Azulon) did not. Firelord Azulon and his Queen were in-laws
