More than a super hero villian story. It's a film noir in modern times.

@@magallanesagustin4952 nah it’s totally different from the sopranos. Besides both being mob shows they are not alike at all really. The plot and theme, the vibe, the tone, the pacing, the cinematography is all wildly different.

@@Jackholiday1025 That's exactly what I say when people make the comparison. Just rewatched the first 2 episodes of season 2 and there's almost nothing to realistically draw comparison to. Except the getting called in to get your orders scenes. There are some parallels there.

@@identity5196 Oz is very much like Tony. He is smart and he thinks well on his feet. He also gets upset rather fast when people are disrespecting him. The show isn't like The Sopranos, but Oz gives off Tony vibes.

This is how you start a tv series. I hope the rest of the show will be just as good. And I didn't expect it to be so hilarious

Great reaction, loved watching this one--good surprises, twists, turns, acting, music, it got me invested. Victor's involvement gives it more weight because he seems more human, relatable.

Colin Farrell is so good at this he might be the Gary oldman of the DC comics universe.. and I love me some Gary oldman as Dracula as the pimp in true romance he was brilliant😂

Cristin Milioti might run away with the whole shabang. Ted Mosby's wifey does crazy very well.

What makes the Riddler plan so stupid is that he made the poor people suffer, but the rich people are fine. And I love how smart Penguin is in this. He planned ahead every time and talked himself out of the situation and quick. When I watched the trailer, it looked promising, but I didn't have any expectations, but this episode blew me away in every filmmaking aspect. The performances, writing, dialogue, storytelling, score, atmosphere, and cinematography, of which I was scared as Greig wasn't doing it and the new one wasn't going to match, but it was incredible too, an incredible pilot. I need the next episode now; this will be one of the best comic book seasons of all time and one of the best crime dramas.

That's the issue with anarchism. You think you're going to destroy everything and make things better not realizing that people with power already are the ones that are going to have what it takes to restart.
