I'm not sure how many layers of skin are peeled away, but it is more effective in my experience than at home glycolic or lactic acid peels. I probably should have kept going until I got frosting but didn't want to "over do" it ;) I think I'll have some kind of results with the 2 layers. xoxo

I have been doing TCA peels about once a month around 15%. I found the winter temps made me stop for a while. I had to choose between retina A or peels. I chose retina a. BUT this I will try before I expose my chest in the warmer months. Thank you brilliant lady.

This is my second 20% peel to my chest in 6 years. I have done 1 two layer 13% peel to my full face about 2-3 years ago and have done 2 one layer 13% to my face since then. I also have done several (maybe 4 upper eyelid peels with the 13%) I have the videos to those in the description box of this video. I did do a back of my hand peel about 6 years ago and it helped, it just took a long time for the skin to peel off in that area. I'm planning on filming another hand peel soon. xoxo

Oh sorry I forgot to answer that! I have used retin a before a peel and also started using it 2 days after to speed up the peeling process. I think they say retin a is good to prep the skin for a peel. If you get too much irritation then I would wait on the retin a otherwise I have used it just fine. xoxo

Thanks for doing another video on this peel. I'm interested in one on my lower face but don't know about doing it and going to work since I'm in an area that gets alot of sunlight and of course I wear makeup to work. Hi! I have seen photos of people that the brown spots do get worse before peeling off. On me I have not had them to that. My skin just gets really tight and dry and then will crack and start peeling. Usually for myself, the peeling on the face happens around the 4th and 5th day after application, so I don't know if it would be the same for you but if so you might apply it accordingly so you are peeling on the days (weekend maybe) that you don't work if you have 2 days off in a row. Those were the worst days for me and was not really able to wear makeup during the 4th and 5th days. Everyone is different though so you might peel earlier or later. I hope this helps some. OH a suggestion is to use a low strength tca peel (10-13%) and do 1 layer which will just cause some flaking off of the skin then you could do those every 2 weeks until you get your desired result. xoxo

For the face I stick to a 13% TCA (really anything 15% and under is good) and then for the body I stick to a 20% TCA. TCA can be used on the legs as well. I'm glad you found my channel too and I appreciate you watching! xoxo

Recently amazon stopped selling all tca peels which is where I always got mine. I'd just google tca peel and see what companies are selling them. I don't have any other types of peels that I would recommend that are similar to tca, I think tca is the best at getting skin to peel (better than glycolic or lactic)

You might google spot treating with TCA and see what comes up from medical websites. I use the fade cream on my upper chest and just do the peel on the entire area (I do have some age spots on my chest) which seems to work well. I have spot treated one spot on my face which worked well also. xoxo

I hope you get great results! I did do a one layer 13% on the neck once. It went fine and I should repeat it again. Since the neck tends to be more sensitive, just try 1 layer and a low percentage (13 or less) I only use the 20% on my chest which tends to be tougher skin than on my face/neck. xoxo

This is only my 2nd one on my chest (the other was about 5 and 1/2 years ago). I think you can do them once ever few months (like 2-3 months with the 20%) with a lower strength peel you can do it more often (once a month with a 13% or less) xoxo

Usually the areas that can turn dark before peeling off take up to 10-14 days on the chest area (usually less on the face) to speed up the peeling process I apply a retinol product (or retin-a) at night to make that process go a little faster

You should get some kind of peeling or flaking at least of the skin. Sometimes it takes longer to peel and flake (might happen in the next 4 days). If you still don't get any after you wait about 8 days I would apply another layer or two (personally that's what I would do after a full 8 days if nothing happens). With 13% I've read that up to 5 layers can be applied. Hope this helps! xoxo

I did and just put some on a small area of my arm to see what it did. There were no adverse reactions after 24 hours so I went ahead with it. I've actually never heard of anyone having a bad reaction to a tca peel (just the reaction it is suppose to do with the burning, peeling, flaking etc). xoxo
