Beavers Clogged a Culvert

It starts.....🌨❄⛄. Yes, the first bit of snow for the year! This culvert was holding back quite a bit of water. It sure had a lot of pressure when it let go all at once! I had to get out of there in a hurry. 🌊 🌊 🌊.The beavers have a pond around 100-150 yards upstream. They occasionally try to expand their pond to this road. I am going to do my thing and push them back to their pond before winter sets in. 🦫 💥 🌊 🌊 🌊

Nice with the second camera - glad you added one! Had that been a bigger culvert you may have been sucked off your feet when it let go. One big mud ball came out.

Hi Gene, Thanks for telling us the date, I predicted the next video from you would be snowy. We've just had the 6th wettest October on record in England and the 1st wettest on record in Scotland. But it's not cold yet and currently we have a big storm here in the south, so even more rain. A bit of cold weather would actually calm things down. That blockage giving way caught you and us watching by surprise, spectacular. So glad you had the second camera set up. Bit of advice from Post 10 to pass on, stand to the side not directly in front when the whole culvert is under water. Remember, those beavers are tricky little buggers, I wouldn't put it past them to set a trap as revenge for that series of dams you broke, lol.

Hi Excession! No problem, it's nice knowing the date now that I am looking back on videos. Sorry about your rainy weather, 🌧. Winter is coming.... 🥶 It did catch me by surprise 😳, lol. 🌊 I thought it was neat how long it took to feel it verses when I heard it. Sounds just like a toilet flushing, haha. It's a good idea to stand to the side of the culvert. I have unclogged that same one for many years. It usually takes quite a bit of digging....lol. There would be no better fitting end for me than to be trapped by a 🦫, 😅. If karma is truly real, I will even get it on film!!

And, yes, our first frost came by way of a half inch of snow overnight. Luckily, we got all the last pickable tomatoes in on Monday! I miss them already. 🍅

Hi Mark! Yes, it tastes great. 🦫🍖 In fact, all the red meat we eat is beaver!! Aside from the occasional treat, we don't buy meat from the store.
