I love that it is a love song she wrote as a call to the universe to find someone she is mentally and spiritually compatible with - and it has badass growls, because she's fierce like that and into radical honesty. The ending is really epic live, especially because Tati's voice is constantly growing in power so the belting has even more punch. I do feel like it was most heart-wrenchingly powerful before she started dating Alex Lopez of Suicide Silence and she was channeling all her loneliness into those lines - definitely worth it to see her looking happier and more upbeat these days though. So, you've done Suicide Silence and Jinjer, now you should check out Tatiana and Eugene from Jinjer collaborating with Alex from Suicide Silence (doing both drums and guitar) to cover Territorial Pissings by Nirvana. As to regular Jinjer songs, Perennial which is a bit heavier than Pisces and I Speak Astronomy but still probably their 4th lightest full-length song would be my suggestion.

You didn’t need to change the pitch and speed of the song. Jinjer songs usually don’t get claims of copyright.
@Module79L4 жыл бұрын
They issue a copyright notice, which is enough to demonetize the video. Speeding up or slowing down the original video doesn't avoid that, as you can see for the claim on the description.

Hi I really enjoyed your reaction (Subed). If you wish to continue your journey down the Jinjer rabbit hole, I highly recommend Perennial (live at wacken 2019) for a truly live performance, then do Teacher Teacher, On The Top and for a sample of their older song check out Outlander. Enjoy the ride.

Fun reaction! Few people start anywhere in the Jinjerverse other than Pisces, so it's cool to see your face when you heard the growls the first time, which if we are honest is a big part of the band's recent success (KZbin eats that stuff up and KZbin is a big part of their increased exposure). I appreciated your notes on other elements of the song. Tati is the GOAT imho, but the rest of the band are stellar, too. My one critique is that you mentioned your own work without including more about it as it relates to the art in front of us. This KZbin genre is kept afloat by the variety of backgrounds reactors can have which inform their opinions and commentary. It's ok to go into a little bit of how YOU might approach this song visually as someone into film in any way. That's a feature, not a bug. Embrace it! That said, it was still a very worthy reaction, just don't be afraid to put a little more of yourself into it. Some folks drink or talk finance in their videos, so you can certainly get away with commentary on the visual art which accompanies the music. The visual arts may be a bigger part of the music industry than the music is anymore.

Jinjer is great. I love this band. I found them on KZbin back in '17 and fell in love with them immediately. It was a thing, I was searching female vocalists in Metal because it had been a while since I'd kept up to new music. I thought I might find a vocalist or two I'd be interested in...😊...I found dozens...and I'm still exploring in '20... Anyway, one of them I found is this band and they have so much amazing material. Enjoy. Thanks. 🤘

They're like the Rocky of music. They came from the war torn part of Ukraine. They were dirt poor, living in a single apartment with no hot water and no electricity, and they had no prospect for a future. Worse yet, the chance that a metal band from Ukraine could escape poverty and find success was almost nil. It would have been so easy for them to give up and become addicts or go to work in one of the many Ukrainian mines. Instead, they poured themselves into their music and continued to hope against hope.

Call me a wretch or whatever you want but I have a sensitive ear and I can hear perfectly that you changed the playback tempo of what we see and that some of us find it quite unpleasant. Getting used to listening to something and then hearing it in the wrong tone in my case is synonymous with giving dislikes.
@Beccahere4 жыл бұрын
Filming on a dslr means you film at a certain frame rate which the video did not match meaning (due to me being very new to this song) I did not realise a change in tempo or anything! So I can only apologise, I know that hearing a song differently from how it should be is awful so I'm sorry about that :) it was a complete accident and will make sure to sort it for next time :) thanks for the feedback :)
