Every album Beck puts out stands out because he's constantly reinventing and experimenting. This song sounds like a throwback to The Information! It has that lazy-quasi-hip-hop vibe that was prevalent on The Information. I'm not crazy about this song, but I have a feeling it will grow on me. I hated Midnight Vultures at first. I probably would have never listened to it twice, but my 4 yr old nephew was obsessed with it. The more I listened, the more I fell in love.

The concept for the video was a "music video art gallery". Different artists contributed the clips, which were then put together. It's a continuation of the clips that were posted on Instagram when Beck launched the song back in June. The concept is very Beck and harks back at videos like The New Pollution and Where It's At (or Loser and Beercan, for the matter), with random imagery seemingly disconnected - something that also reflects the lyrics. It fits the theme of the song, about the way we consume information and images in the digital era - a theme that has been present in his songs since The Information (or even earlier), though the song is also about living the moment. There is some of the Loser loseness and fun for the sake of it. And of course it's great to have Beck back in a video busting his moves. The whole thing really gets me more and more excited about the new album :)

Last song baby bro told me to check out said it was dope, before he died in motorcycle accident just before he turned 30 in 2016. Right after I listened to it ALL the time, makes me pretty sad now. But comin up on the day he was born, which is always a rough day even though we don't celebrate birthdays, I just remember the old days when I was always there for him when he was little cause I was u yrs older. Which I'd been there for him more @ the end & just helped more because it was a rough time. And we were living our own seperate lives, but we still always connected in music!

I've always liked Beck. But I had no clue he sang this and I used to work in a club that played it a lot when it came out. He's so diverse, even his fans like myself can't keep up with him! Amazing artist and can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

I love Beck. He is one of those artists that still make true music. Not a lot of people know he does a lot of the instrumentals himself. He will never be what society wants him to be and that is why he is not main stream, which is why I love his work so much. This happens to a lot of geniuses. Keep up the great work Beck.
