He reminds me so much of my little Emily. You do all the same things I did. Unfortunately she passed away 2 years ago. I miss her so much. I want you to know you are doing a wonderful job. You are a great mom. One of the best I have ever seen. Most people would just throw there special needs child in a home. I couldnt/wouldnt do it. They are special children sent by god and we were chosen (hand picked) to be there moms. Keep up the good work mom You are doing great and your children are beautiful. Yes I agree Beckham needs to explore, but he also needs to be safe. If he would have eaten the dog he could have gotten sick or choked. Glad he explored on his own, but if he would have thrown or dropped the glass bowl hard enough and yes he is strong enough it could chipped or broke and that would be very dangerous for any child.

There are some water rides that the whole family can ride, one is a river and you get in a floaty boat with maybe 8 people or the log ride and you can wear your normal clothes if you want

I have been loving your style of videos lately! I say keep it going! As a mom of 4 kiddos, 2 being special needs- i have very much learned you have to adjust your parenting to the child and some kiddos just need different parenting approaches! I completely understand keeping things fair- but it would also be good for Blakely to learn that sometimes things have to be adjusted for Beckham and why some expectations might be different. Tbere are lot of childrens books about cerebral pasly- you could pick some up and im sure both the kids would love them! The abilities in me, xanders cerbral pasly super powers, and my life with cerebral pasly are a few you could look uo 😊

I'm not a parent, but my wonderful brother is special needs. I will admit that at times it was hard because i didn't understand why he would receive different attention than me, especially with getting in trouble. I will say though, that now that we are both adults it's easier to understand why. I think just as Blakely ages, make sure she understands why there is a difference. It made all the difference for me.

I liked this video, glad Beckham was able to explore and he's so happy, but please read what I am going to write and think about it please. So very glad Beckham is exploring, happy and trying to talk even. Here is my perspective as an adult that has Cerebral Palsy. Beckham is just as smart as Blakely. I think you think he's not as smart as Blakely because of his speech delays. He is showing you by exploring in his way that he CAN DO a lot. As Beckham grows and becomes even more mobile he will show you. Also, why treat your kids differently when it comes life period. I have CP, but my brother didn't. My parents were actually harder on me than him because they knew I would do whatever I was told which had nothing to do with my CP. My point is Beckham is smarter than anyone gives him credit for sometimes. Even his teachers said he lets his needs and wants at school. It should also carry over to at home. Beckham congrats on your award at school! Proud of you Beckham! Keep it up little man! As far as the video I love the videos with Beckham after all that's what brought me to your channel. Beckham is a sweet little man who has an amazing life ahead of him. I also like the family videos. I would like to see Beckham in clothes more than just his PJ's just because he seems so happy, it may be because he knows when he gets dressed he knows he's going somewhere. Trust me on this one, Beckham does know right from wrong more than you think. He is one smart boy. I am excited to see him explore more once he gets his wheelchair and after his surgery.
