In America the last time I checked we don’t have any gluten free or “free from” aisles in our Poundland equivalent stores… unless it’s changed now, I’m happy for my fellow American viewers of your channel to prove me wrong!

Dollar Tree in the US and there are no gluten free sections as of yet.. I am sure there are gluten free items if you look very closely though

Yes we have dollar stores here in Wa state, but not any gluten free stuff that I know of. Unless they just happen to get a load of something and put it on a shelf.

Absolutely love your videos, you have helped me through some very tough times, especially dealing with being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, ibs and finding out I have a gluten, lactose, and red meat intolerance. You are such an inspiration xx

In the U.S., we have Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and Dollar General, at least around where I live. Not everything is a $1, but you can find some good deals. Not sure about their gluten free sections or options.

It's all good finding the GF shelf in shops but they are all full of sweets stuff and biscuits and never anything in the frozen sections. Getting frustrated that there's not alot of frozen choice for my 9 year old. Not happy

Hi Vicky, how do you deal with IBS-C? I been suffering from ibsc for almost 6 months now hard almost everyday in pain. You look great btw ❤ how do you do it???

If it doesn't state gluten free I tend to avoid even if the ingredients should be safe. If you're ever in Ireland and fancy some crisps Keogh's are the best ones in my opinion. There's a supermarket chain called SuperValu here and their own free from brand of bread is the only bread I eat these days. I'm sensitive to dairy (though not completely intolerant) and that bread is also dairy free and I've never had a problem with it. It's also way cheaper than gluten free brands like Promise, Kelkin and Schar. I avoid all oats because the proteins are too similar to gluten proteins so my body reacts.

I don’t understand how you can just look at products ingredients at the store and it doesn’t say gluten free , no gluten is listed in the ingredients but you still buy it and other people say it’s gluten free when it sounds to good to be true and the company makes other things that also say have gluten in it , aren’t you concerned about cross contamination? I sure am because I am celiac if it doesn’t say gluten free and the company has no products that contain gluten I look it up online or call the company . Here is a real example that happened to me : I have in the past looked at canned pineapple in juice and thought oh the ingredients don’t say there is gluten in it and there is nothing that’s saying there is ,I could not look it up online because it was the store brand ,but I still get it thinking it’s fine to eat because of the ingredients , I used the pineapple in a recipe and had a problem instantly after finishing eating the recipe and every other ingredient in the recipe is certified gluten free except for the pineapple, so I know it’s the pineapple that is the problem.
