When doing the dynamic volley drill, why not after controlling the ball pass the ball back on the floor, as this is more game realistic. I get that it would take more time tho, cos u need to pick up the ball each time to throw it, but besides this do u see any other other advantages of passing it back in the air?
@inthedarkvlogs3 жыл бұрын

@norrmanrickardjr12513 жыл бұрын
Matt i just thought about your crosses, not to sound smart or anything, but in these clips you often use the backspin kind of cross and while it could be good if youre aiming it on the far post it is a pretty slow cross if you dont drive it really. You se KDB and TAA often use the more of dipping curling cross which can be much faster and easy to finish for the striker. Look up EJA FEODROF on youtube, shes an expert in hitting the ball and has trained the likes of David luiz
@norrmanrickardjr12513 жыл бұрын
And if you drive a backspin cross it will be quite low the whole time. With the other technique it can go over the first defender and then drop for tje striker preferably

Are you using proper match balls for all of your offseason training sessions? I struggle to find premium match balls to practice with consistently due to price but I feel as though it makes a major impact as opposed to training with cheap “training” balls that have a tendency to egg and have irregular flight patterns as their life goes on. Secondary question: Should I not use premium match balls intermittently throughout my training if I’m not training with them solely? For instance, if I had 10 cheap training balls and 2-3 premium match balls, should I forgo using the match balls and focus on using my training balls that pretty much all play the same? I understand a ball is a ball is a ball, but I’d be lying to myself if I said it didn’t make a difference.... FYI my FC Tulsa jersey is en route 😎

Hey Matt, nice video as usual. I have a question related to individual training sessions. Hope you could discuss this question in your video. QUESTION: How many drills should we do in a training session or how long should one single session be?? Btw lover your videos. Keep up the good work.👍🙌
@CalvinFox313 жыл бұрын
This is a good question, so there's really no limit of drills that you should do in a training session but the training session will be better if it is more focused on one topic. For example, long balls. Not only should it be focused on a topic but the topic should be game related. It is so important to focus on things that will translate to the game. As for time that is up to you are you in season or not? When is your team training? For me I am in season right now and if I train alone I usually do 30 minutes of good work the longest I do is 1;30 in season. But everyone is different find what works for you. I was thinking about maybe making a video like this on my channel let me know if you think it will be a good Idea.
