Confidence Tips:( in new team) 1. Greet everyone before training 2.stand up straight + eye contact 3. Start a casual conversation in locker room 4.hop straight into pre-training rondo 5.ask to join passing or two touch Before training session. 6. Confidently ask for the ball 7. Repeat same action after a mistake 8. Take feedback with confidence: Look in the eyes and say got it! 9. Dont be the first one off the field. 10. Start up a casual conversation after session. And the most important train more. More than everyone and you will be 100% confident player. Everyday become better than you was yesterday confidence will actualy come

CANNOT emphasize enough how true this is. I'm someone that usually doesn't talk much but I'll walk into rondos knowing I got this shit. I got called out by a teammate in training for playing a risky backheel pass in defence. But it worked out. CONFIDENCE. I did the fancy stuff again. I had a good session. No one said a thing after I pulled off risky moves while it worked. They'd play the ball into me even when I demanded it in risky spots. I have the confidence to wriggle out. If I fail? I'll do it again, while obviously being aware and sensible. This is one thing you learn from players like Neymar. They'll lose the ball, come back up like nothing happened, win the game.

My dad always said, you have a free pass to be cocky on the pitch but as soon as you leave the pitch, you leave your cockiness there. He called it a light switch, you switch it on when you're playing and switch it off when you're done. That metaphor always stuck with me

Today is my first day of training for my college team. There’s no coincidence that I stumbled on this video at this exact moment, hours before we get on the pitch. Thank you for a fantastic video. I’m definitely going to be way more confident and try and change my mentality. I’ve always been that kid who “goes back in there shell”, so I’m going to be more outgoing and use different body language to demand the ball. Great video again!

Confidence is literally everything, I was probably one of the worse players in my high school team regarding with skill with the ball and so for the first 3 years I was never confident enough to ask because I felt like I would mess up, that would happen because I felt like imma mess up it made me mess up but then I started to think to myself that I shouldn’t care if I mess up in practice, that’s the point of practice, to work on your skills so it gave me the confidence that I shouldn’t care about messing up and led me to play better than ever even

Really needed this, Ive had a really rough time with trials and I have been leaving every trial knowing I am better and should have done better and I dont get on the teams ive wanted to and think i deserve to. I totally relate to shying away, I wont call for the ball, and when im on the ball i play too safe. I always try to move on from things in tryouts but its really hard those mistakes really eat at you if you let them, especially for me where i set pretty unrealistic standards for myself. But next trial I will make sure that when I make a mistake to move on like nothing happened and go to the next play.
