Yeah I feel like it is going well right now, 6 solid weeks of base building done, I might up the distance a bit from now until Christmas (maybe up to around 40k a week) I've spent all weekend working on graphics for the new series :) so it looks like I've got a busy evening of editing ahead of me

I have had to rig a lot of shoes in my past. I would write to the company and see if they would help. Doesn't hurt to try.

You're right. To be fair i've moved to EVO's and SG4's and I'm having a lot less trouble recently. I feel like they have hardened the shoes quite a lot.

Speedgoat Evo. That kevlar upper is meant to be bulletproof. That would solve your problems

Santa is brings me a pair of those for Christmas. If they are really that good I'll pick up another in the future

That's my big camera, the Panasonic GH4 just with some really good lighting

It's time to ditch those mushy speedgoats. Your feet will never get stronger if you keep running in those. Get something firmer and lower to the ground. It will feel strange at first but it will make you a better and more agile runner and your feet will get stronger ! I've had 3 pairs of speedgoats 2 and still use one pair for really easy recovery jogs. For proper technical runs i much prefer something like Saucony peregrine or even salomon sense pro 3 for races. They make you feel invincible !

I'm not sure I can fully give up the SGs but it might be good for me to introduce another pair of harder shoes into my training. I have some old inov8s that have amazing grip but they are the opposite of cushioned. It would be interesting to see if mixing it up would help at all
