The problem has always been with Bob Kraft being cheap. Everyone wants to blame the coaches. Kraft lets quality players go and doesn’t go after free agents because he’s cheap. From Seymour to mankins, chandler jones, Asante Samuel, Gilmore, I could go on & on. He didn’t want to give Brady weapons. And Brady goes on to win a superbowl with bucs. He doesn’t give Belichick players & fired him. Now mayo will be the next scapegoat

jerod mayo is not a top notch coach. He will never lead the Patriots to even a division title. Robert Kraft's intuition is, in reality, hubris. He got his billion dollars, does he even think of the ticket holders and fans anymore? He's put the fans through five years of this drudgery, stop the insanity.

When you have Drake Maye looking like a potential star, the Patriots finishing the season 3-14 or 4-13 is unacceptable. In no way should this team be worse or as bad as last year's trainwreck where good QB play was an alien concept. The fact the defense has been awful despite Mayo being a defensive coach tells us all we need to know about his ability to oversee this team.

Defense last year 21.5 ppg bs 8 backup QBs. The defense this year 23.5 ppg vs 2 backup QBs. It’s crazy how uneducated this fanbase is. How quickly everyone forgets they lost by a combined 74-3 to Dallas and New Orleans last year

I think it's pretty safe to say this team will lose their remaining 4 games, all against playoff bound teams. Its not like this team is trending upward and playing better week to week. Just look at the mental mistakes and pre-snap penalties. Just as bad now as they were at the start of the season. I really don't see RKK bailing on Mayo after one season, he's too invested in looking good in public than a winning franchise.

I mean, why did they effing hire him if they don’t know he was going to be ready?

DEI, social promotion, affirmative discrimination. I Like giving a student a passing grade because he plays a sport well. Or hiring your son's best bud.

Mayo has shown nothing. Maye is too good to waste

How can you fully judge mayo if he is the chef in the kitchen and you don’t give him the ingredients. Iam really excited about maye but fans and media say we need more weapons and more help on a o line all true. If you are going to have that conversation you got to give the coach a pass in year 1. If we are in year 3 or four in this rebuild and no success then it’s a fair conversation.

If u dont pull the plug u could lose out on someone like a ben johnson

Mayo was given a team he coached for 5 years. He should have been familiar with the players, organization, coaches. He had a great set up, taking over from a former coach, knowing all the weaknesses. He corporately speaks of shareholders, but he has not produced results.

Bruh i been saying this since the season started , and nobody wanted to hear it , he had all off season

A great setup? How is the worst roster in the league a great set up.
