I really liked this review. Living in the Chicago suburbs, I'm always looking for ways to keep us warm on those freezing nights. Did not even know anything like these products existed! Thanks for keeping me informed and educated about new products! Great review!!!

Bought a ChiliPad in March 2021. I returned it twice last year because it sounded like a jet taking off (of course they wanted proof of this, so I had to grab my phone in the middle of the night to record it).. Then in May (2022), the pump stopped. It took me a week to receive a return label. Another for it to be delivered to them. And they've had it for 4-weeks. I've become so accustomed to sleeping cool that I looked at other options. I bought a BedJet and I absolutely love it! Didn't know if I would because I was accustomed to the cooling feeling coming up from under me. But the BedJet is so much better! It's whisper quiet. It doesn't stop working in the middle of the night because it needs water and you can also set up various Biorhythms. Wish I would have invested in the BedJet first. BTW..I purchased a ChiliPad for another family member and now that one is squealing through the night too! Save yourself the headaches and get a BedJet!

My problem isn’t the lack of AC but a king sized memory foam mattress that traps in the heat of the two of us and our two dogs. I think the bed jet might work well for me to get some of that cooler ambivalent air into and over top of the mattress.
@NonbiasedReviews2 жыл бұрын
Both devices could work well together - the BedJet would bring air from your sheets (from the top), while the Chili would cool you from below and combat the heat-trapping foams in the your mattress.

Thanks for this video. I'm a hot sleeper and a new memory foam mattress has just made it like 10 times hotter. But over the years I have always struggled to sleep in the warmer months. Definately going with a chilli pad. Thanks

I disagree with the negative comments on using the BedJet in the summer. I live in southern Utah and it’s HOT here in the summer. I prefer sleeping in cooler temperatures but it costs a fortune to set the AC to 68 degrees. With the BedJet I can set my AC to 76 and still stay cool. Maybe the BedJet wouldn’t work in a HOT room, I don’t know, but it’s amazing to keep you cool sleeping and saving a ton on your AC bill.
@GEAUXFRUGAL2 жыл бұрын
I sleep in a small bed. Thinking about closing my bed in , installing a AC unit for this small space . I go places sleep in my car you want to keep AC on higher number saves gas. My bed is in the back seat I will have to figure out a way to direct cool AC air to my bed. I can see the bad jet placed on the floor AC set to floor. My car is Prius V and it powers (ICE) internal combustion engine to charge traction battery maybe 5min 3X an hour. Depending on the settings and power used determines the frequency of ICE turning on. For my 2 beds I might be better off with the bed jet.

Question but does the Bedjet cool you off so you can sleep ?

Yes, the BedJet 3 will cool all the way down to 66 degrees and up to 104.

@@NonbiasedReviews Now I'm confused, I thought the bedjet had no cooling capability of it's own. It only circulates room air for cooling right?
@steverino96992 жыл бұрын
Great review! I watched several other videos and read reviews but I have a question that nobody seems to address. I'm a back sleeper and my back gets really hot. Does the cool air flow under the back at all? If not, would it still help to buy it then? Should I go with a water based system instead?
@NonbiasedReviews2 жыл бұрын
Hi Steverino! Thanks for asking. No, if you are talking about the BedJet, it does not blow air under your back. As a back sleeper, and if your back gets hot, I would go with either the new Dock Pro (trk.chilisleep.com/aff_c?offer_id=2&aff_id=1923&url_id=55 - I have an exclusive code for 25% OFF, let me know if interested), Pod 3 (eight-sleep.ioym.net/qrd4g - if you need a new mattress) or Pod 3 Cover (eight-sleep.ioym.net/6bGYLq - if you like your current mattress).

Ugh, I’m in Tucson, and just bought a Bed Jet. I will probably buy a Chilly Pad too and then just return the one that doesn’t work as well for me. I definitely am looking for cooling!

Ps...1 month later... it’s in the 100’s here in Tucson these days, and I’m very thankful for my Chilipad! I actually stretched my budget and bought the Ooler, because I really suffer from the heat and I wanted to be certain it would cool sufficiently. EVEN with the ooler I have to crank it to the coldest temp! Thanks again for the reviews definitely helped my choice Oh, and while the BedJet was returned , I’d still say it would be good for less severely hot climates and for winter heating

I can care less about the winter time....I'm a hot sleeper so colder the better but summer time on the other hand....oh god I think I'd use both and a dehumidifier. Can you sandwich 2 chilipads one under and the other over me?
@NonbiasedReviews5 жыл бұрын
you should look into the ooler: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmSWgKKPbL6tj5Y it has a turbo mode for getting to temperature faster, it isn't as loud as the chilipad (made by the same company). I don't think you would be comfortable with a pad on top of you.
@Dollapfin5 жыл бұрын
I’m certain that blowing hot humid air is a lot better than sitting in stagnant super humid air that’s heated by yourself and insulated via your bedding. That’s why fans cool you down in the first place and because the bedjet is ground level, it’s likely bringing cooler air by a degree or so.
@NonbiasedReviews5 жыл бұрын
If you have a fan in a room it will make it feel about 10 degrees cooler, so I'm with you on that. However, I have tried fans in the middle of summer when its still 105 (with a broken AC) or so overnight and a fan doesn't help enough.
@DavidB-hy7ex5 жыл бұрын
Well, sort of. You don't feel the fan effect from the BedJet like you do from a room fan, so you don't evaporate as effectively, so you don't cool as effectively.

I live in Phoenix. I sleep in the room next to the garage. We have done everything reasonable to make the garage cooler so it doesn't heat up the bedroom. Summers are long and hard here. I am glad to see this *vs* so I could make plans to purchase the best bed cooler for my needs.

@NonbiasedReviews5 жыл бұрын
you can feel the tubes but its a cold sensation so i don't mind it.
@bennyhill61612 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are correct as you do feel the tubes which is very Annoying, also chili pad changes the feel of the original mattresses & it's comforting/supportive intentions--it interferes with the mattresses materials.

Do I need air-conditioning to use this? If my bedroom is hot will the chilipad bring the temp down?
@NonbiasedReviews5 жыл бұрын
I think that's the magic of the chilipad, it keeps your bed cool so if your ac isn't on you will still be cold. The bedjet recycles the air from the ground so it isn't as good in the summertime.
@santouchesantouche28735 жыл бұрын

@NonbiasedReviews6 жыл бұрын
I add water when I dump it and clean it every 3 months or so.

It doesn't evaporate the water. It circulates it throughout the tubes, so you should never have to add water to it. Periodically, you will have to clean it/replace it.

Humidity is your #1 enemy which requires a A/C. The one thing nice about the Chilipad is you can have it set up for one side of the bed so if you are a hot sleeper you can get some much needed cooling while your husband or wife wont have to put up with the lower temps.

Bedjet #1 Why is Bedjet the Best & why are you wrong saying chili pad is #1 Chili pad changes the mattresses original intention to feel. Chili pad interferes with the mattresses materials & Bedjet does not change the feel of the original mattress, also the Bedjet is more durable with far less breakdowns vs chilipad.

Hi Benny, thank you for the feedback. This video was shot by my colleague several years ago. I took over the website 2 years ago. I'd probably recommend the Eight Sleep mattress (or just the Cover) first, with the BedJet and Chili seconds - they provide a very different sleeping experience, and each sleeper will probably have their very own idea of which they prefer.

@@douglasogden2107 Just that I wish it would get cooler than it does. I can put it down all the way, but if it's in the 80s in the house, I'm still warm.
