John Travolta visited lots of Discos and did lots of prep work with Deny Terrio getting ready to dance like that for the movie!! This song was usually always the way the Bee Gee's ended all their concerts (other than encores, of course).

I have been browsing your channel and when I saw The Bee Gees playlist-along with your positive vibes (I’m a Christian too)…I had to Subscribe! Growing up, The Bee Gees were my favorite group, and you’re bringing back memories for me. I loved them then and still today! They wrote all their songs and played instruments too, all without being able to read music! It was a God-given talent they had. I believe they only did 1 cover song in their career. They took a Carol King song “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow “, and in typical fashion, did it “Bee-Gee” style. It’s beautiful. The official Bee Gees You Should Be Dancing video is live ( Spirits Tour ) 1979 . It is amazing , Andy also joined them on stage. Someone took parts of the concert and movie to make this video.

I love this! My favorite Bee Gees song. Like you said, can't go wrong with anything by the Bee Gees. I would definitely encourage you to listen to Barry Gibb and Barbara Streisand in "A Woman in Love." So good. Also -- PLEASE react to Heart's "Alone." Ann and Nancy Wilson can both sing like nobody's business and Nancy tears it up on guitar as well.

The concert clips are from the 1979 "Spirits" tour. Andy joined them on stage for this song. He is on Mo's mic. This song is from 1976's "Children of the World" album, but was featured in the movie "Saturday Night Fever." This is a defining cut for dance music, and you can't help but move. Very nice Devin.

Devin, I watched a video clip of an interview with Maurice and he described Andy in awe of the crowd on that night. He looked at Maurice and said “ can you believe it “ Maurice said it was the best night that they will remember forever ❤️❤️❤️ they are the best around so sad they are mostly gone 😔

Yes Andy was 4th person on stage. He didn’t sing on the song but made appearance. Was wonderful for all 4 brothers performing together. Hope everything is ok with you and your family. Haven’t seen new Bee Gees. Thought maybe in honor of Barry Gibb’s 77th birthday and 53rd Wedding anniversary with wife Linda you could do Words (live Spirits tour is my favorite or Barry’s tour in 2013/2014). Dude! I was 21 when disco came out. We worked hard at our jobs all week, feeling weighted down by life. Then dressed to the 9’s , headed to the disco. The second we walked in, the music brought us alive like nothing you young folks have today. How I wish you could experience the intoxicating energy this group created as we danced. You would have fit right in with us. Thank you for the walk down memory lane. It was fun watching you enjoy the music I danced the night away to. Peace ☮️

I was lucky to attend one of these Bee Gee concerts from the 1979 Spirits Tour in Ohio in September 1979. Took my younger sister and her friend for their high school graduation gift. Tickets were only $10, $12.50, or $15 dollars for this fantastic concert! Tickets now days to top level shows like this are now untouchable for the average person. Andy wasn't on stage with his brothers for this show, but it was so freaking AMAZING!!!

Andy joined them on stage for a concert in Texas (Houston i think if i remember right) so they all sang it together that night. Andy was not on the recording for the album that i am aware of. But they sure looked to be having fun performing together.

Devin, I have been listening to High Civilization tonight, and I wanted to give you an example of another beautiful sound by the brothers. The song is "The Only Love." hey devin great reaction. i am a product of the 60s and 70s and knew of the bee gees since the beginning. when this song came out i truly hated it i was like WTF??? i was so used to their previous non- diso era. over time and constant plays on the radio this song became my favdance wise. at the end barry is is hitting these high notes andi thought it was crazy. after all these years i think this is my fav dance song ever and i still love all kinds of disco music. btw andy does appear in part of this video montage "singing" with his brothers on stage. but the music and vocals are llip-synched. its the exactmusic from the album. check out thier ballad baby as you turn away , its beautiful!
