Maangchi, your cooking videos are useful and very entertaining. Today I have made your Kimchi recipe out of your book- but the german version (only 3 garlic instead of 20 and no onions). Thank you and greetings from Germany !

I love it when you include ways of storing these broths and dumplings long-term. It's so helpful to be able to have the more complicated and time-consuming recipes at the ready. For disabled folks waiting for a good day to tackle a long-process recipe, we can make a big batch at once and store it up. Thank you so much, Maangchi!

My first encounter with bone broth was tteok-guk. I was getting out of school sick at the time and I asked my dad for soup before going home, so we stopped by a local Korean restaurant. The lady there told me that their tteok-guk had broth made of beef bones, "it's full of nutrients and you'll feel better!" It was a nasty infection of some kind so I did get a little worse. But her soup was simple yet comforting with the chewy tteok, and I never forgot her words. Since then I've always wanted to try a legit bone broth soup again. I must admit though, Maangchi's broth looks richer and thicker. I can imagine the healing power coming from that soup 😋😋

Your food has helped me so much more than you could ever know.

We also have it in the Philippines. We call it NILAGANG BULALO. The beef bones are boiled for so long until the bone marrows are all out and melted with the very hot boiling water. Your style of cooking is much longer and stricter. Back home they don't clean it as much as you did. I know how ours taste, super yummy, but I want to taste yours too, I am so curious how yours tastes. Keep it up, I enjoy watching your videos.

Handy tip - 4:39 - don't relax too much - and fall asleep like I did and wake up to the house smelling of burnt bones and smoke everywhere.... The broth had been boiling dry for hours and it took me weeks to get the smell out of my curtains, couch, towels, everything......... Loved this video though, and I love this channel :D I shall try bone broth again (using this recipe too this time!), when I'm feeling more awake hahahah

I really love watching these types of videos, they're so educational! One thing I noticed about Korean cuisine is that they really use everything with such little waste while still making it look and taste amazing. It's really cool! Normally, I would've just thrown the bones away and not thought twice about it.
Nice video to get people interested in making natural broths. Normally people will just discard bones the exact same way they throw away the shells from all the shellfish instead of using it and making something out of it. Keep up the good videos👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you, I've been wanting to learn how to make bone broth properly, my little boy has seizures and I know this will put back the nutrients he loses. ❤
@mayicos662 жыл бұрын
Hello , I hope your boy keep getting better soon. I wanted to suggest a product called Bio Green Cell and a very famous singer Olga Tañon promotes it because her daughter Gabriela have had seizures since she was a baby, real bad ones ,, so bad that she had like 30 a day those caused brain damage, she is 25 but with the mind of a five year old. The product has been the only thing that stopped the seizures completely. I don’t know why I am writing this , I don’t sell it or promote it , I only came to this channel to learn how to make bone broth and Out of nowhere I saw your comment. I also was going to add that when I showed my family this video they insist that when she boils the bones for 20 minutes and throws away the water then she is throwing away the nutrients? I don’t know what to think. God Bless you and your family.
