Now that is someone who knows that you paid money for a ticket to see her perform and so she delivered 110%. Donna Allen is just another on a long list of unappreciated and underrated singers who are still with us today, but sadly there isn't a record company out there that will give these singers another break. I put her right up there with Patti LaBelle, Vesta Williams, Chaka Khan and Teena Marie, among others who gave you a full show and then some when you went to their concerts. Donna Allen was a former cheerleader for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and her energy when performing a song always kept a crowd on their feet.

I always loved her since a little girl. I literally just heard Serious and thought I would see what happened to her. She was that IT girl on the rise back in the day and then out of nowhere she disappeared but I see that today, she's an independent artist still doing her thing.

What a backwards world. An artist could be on stage giving everything they got and the audience response is basic but another can get on stage with little to no talent, just walking back and forth and yelling profanity and the audience goes wild! She should have been a mega star with this level of talent, stamina and determination.
