Update: It looks like the Seals of Beelzebub I had mixed up with a second different seal of Beelzebub, though Beelzebub's and Baal's seals are similar, this doesn't seem to confirm that she is a Goetia. with the rest of the evidence presented, and this seal being used instead of Beelzebub's more unique one, I Think this still makes it a very plausible theory.

Me too. It’s refreshing to see a character confident enough to openly “take care” of others openly and be good host material simply because she enjoys it, while everyone around her appreciates it but also implicitly understands she is not to be fucked with. It seems her “job” involves some sort of food-based manupulation tactics to get things done, suggested in her song, but as a person in her off-time, she seems to legit care about those around her. To keep the conflicts from escalating to a point they would affect the hazbin hotel, I don't think any of the princes are going to go too far as antagonists. So they will most likely stay relatively nice. What I am hoping for is an expansion on how each of how their nice image connects to some darker intentions. For example Ozzy spreads lust partly to catch key people in taboos then exploit them. Bee can be an empath that uses it to heighten her buzz at her parties and all of her social butterfly tendencies are just to keep people happy to keep her buzz high. I am actually convinced that her competition with blitz was just a ploy to get him pass out drunk and remove him from the party without disrupting the party.

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think the show ever referred to the rulers of the seven rings as princes. Asmodeus was referred to as the embodiment of lust and Bee was referred to as the queen of gluttony. So it is possible that the show will give the 7 rulers different titles other than prince in order to avoid confusion with the princes of the Ars Goetia.

I enjoy her "sickly sweet" characterization. Obviously she's kind in some genuine ways, if she'll care about someone as distant as "boyfriend's best-friend's dad" which is refreshing, but it's also evident that despite the kindness she is still spreading gluttony and is actively encouraging massive amounts of alcohol and hallucinogenic addiction the entire party.

I have a theory that Beelzebub isn't actually a fox at all and is actually fully insect like in her true form but has the ability to change her form like Paimon. Maybe she adopts this form when partying with her Hellhound subjects to make them feel more comfortable and open to committing gluttony when she's around? Especially considering that hellhounds are used to being mistreated by upper class demons so it would make sense for Bee to change her form if the goal is to get them to loosen up.

But that might fall under Bee's animal trainer schtick. Leviathan could be like... hoaxes and fake cryptids like how circuses would claim to have mermaids. Whether as divers holding their breath, or taxidermied monstrosities like the Fiji Mermaid. We don't really have anyone to represent the Freak Show yet, but envy's emphasis on wealth and status makes me think that Leviathan is unlikely to be the Freak Show. I really like how you can tell how beloved Bee is in Vivziepop's eyes, as compared to the designs of Asmodeus and Lucifer. Not to say that the design for Asmodeus isn't impressive (Lucifer's is a bit bland to be honest) it's very creative, but no other characters' design can hold a candle to Bee's. She's absolutely gorgeous and the lava lamp like aesthetics serve to make her all the more breathtaking. This is a character design that will easily command the attention of whatever room she's in, you couldn't imagine her being overlooked in a corner anywhere. It's obvious that Vivziepop went all out for this character for Kesha and that's so heartwarming to see her fanship being rewarded.

I keep hearing this, but is there some sort of source? Keep in mind Lucifer has tried to sue mammon and lost, and we do know he is king of all of hell with dominion over everything, so unless he's giving way to the other princes with some sort of royal claim to their territory it doesn't make sense that they'd be just famous people. Beelzebub says she considers Satan* like a brother even though he's not, indicating that they are seen as related probably because of their titles. they definitely have that celebrity quality to them, but it seems like they hold a specific title over their geographic area.

I would definitely like a more speculative video in the future. For example, if the von Eldrich family Is a newer family that rose to prominence What does that say for the other deities and hierarchies of cuthulu mythos? There is also a lot of creative potential in the thirty six Decons of hell, essentially a demonic zodiac loosely related to the Goetia. Also, Dante's inferno and a lot of theologian texts took from other mythologies and religions to downgrade or make fun of those cultures. If so, what are the likelihoods for the greco roman or Egyptian deities of the afterlife to be reproduced or re represented as a species in hell? There is a lot to go into and it's a lot of fun theory crafting even if nothing comes out of it in the cannon.

The bird theme could be for the pride ring, because as you said they are mostly there. Asmodeus has less of a visible bird theme, so it could be mainly on Pride, therefore Baalzebub has a different theme because of the different ring.

My prediction on Belphegor is that she is probably going to be a fortune teller or something like that. They are parts of circus performances and carnivals in general, plus magic/mysticism has sometimes been called as a kind of drug for the mind so it could be possible that Belphegor might play that role in the show. Also, magic has a connection with psychedelics so her being a fortune teller that provides satisfaction in the form of mystical drug essence kind of makes sense.

I should note that Beelzebub’s symbol, while similar to Bael’s, does have its slight differences in terms of design. Note how the bottom part of the design has a noticeably longer point that reaches the rim with an additional circle as opposed to the original. Assuming this isn’t just an error, this could imply that the two may be separate but somehow related.

When you mentioned that Andrealphus’ ice palace might be in the ninth circle of Hell which Dante describes as a frozen wasteland, I remembered that Dante wrote that the ninth circle was reserved for sinners guilty of treachery, be it against their country or those close to them. This further hints that he is going to betray Stella, either directly or indirectly by trying to hurt Octavia after being initially under the impression that he would help her achieve their goals in a way that would not harm Octavia.

I hope the design of belphegore will be based on elephants, because the animal has several characteristics that could fit with the circle of sloth shown in the series. First, elephants have the appearance of someone who is always tired (by their small eyes and wrinkled skin). moreover their trumpeting which resembles, with a little imagination, yawning and snoring. At this point we can also add the fact that elephants are, most of the time, quite slow animals. Second, the elephants are very popular animals in circuses, which goes well with the theme of "circus hell". And although being an elephant can duplicate the animal trainer aspect of Beezlebut, in the last episode it is through the latter that we learn that Belphegore is a woman and they seem to be quite close . Thridly, the medical aspect of the sloth ring can totally suit a demon elephant, because elephants in nature practice self-medication, they are long-lived (a trait usually with medical care), they are among animals the most intelligent, as said above they are slow (both physically and mentally, that's why they can be easily startled and frightened), and since elephants only sleep one or two hours a day I can easily imagine Belphegore having invented these pills against insomnia. And fourth, their trunks, I mean if you assume that Belphegore will be a humanoid elephant, using only your nose to manipulate your environment when you have two functional arms might seem pretty lazy, right? And as for her professions, I think (like many people in the comments) that she would be either a hypnotist or a Fakir (+ 2 points if the design is indeed an elephant because 1: Asian elephants are very used by man in India and shows and 2 elephants have a greater surface area for their feet to distribute their weight, which means that they sink less than humans in soft ground, and that is that same technique that helps the Fakir walked on nails) or an illusionist (although Levhiathan is an equally good candidate for the job, if not better).

So far, all of the Ars Goetia have been avian, and Vivzie went out of her way to make Asmodeus an avian demon including comparisons with Stolas in the design notes, so Beelzebub not being avian in any way would suggest that she and Baal will be separate characters. So Beelzebub isn't a member of the Ars Goetia, it'll be Baal instead who takes the place as a king of the Ars Goetia.

But it also means owner in Hebrew so many in helluva boss baal will play a role as the owner of the hell hounds pounds... It seems interesting the “Royal” side of each ruler of each ring of Hell as I seem to find it fascinating to discover more of each ruler. As I didn’t know that Queen Bee was a fox as I was feeling that she was a type of hound that has a bee complex. But seeing that she is a fox make loads of sense. 😄 so can’t wait to see if we get the appearance of Mammon as their face been showing around lately as just “Headshots” only throughout each episode that shine their appearance. So fingers crossed they look amazing and characteristics be unique in a way.

A little something that I find funny is that we all know the Stolas drawing (the one they based his design on) but in the Lesser key of Solomon he actually isn't described as an owl, but rather as a 'mighty raven'. So someone found a stash of drawings and a book and tried to match the Goetias with the pictures and probably couldn't find a raven, so he just took the owl drawing and called it a day. Or maybe they didn't know what a raven looked like idk. But it's fun to think about

Beelzebub and Bael/Baal are the same entity in judo-christian mythology, the word "Baal" meaning "Lord" in Hebrew, and Beelzebub meaning "Lord of the Flies'', also in Hebrew. However, judo-christian mythology is based on ancient egyptian and mesopotamian mythologies. In mesopotamian mythology, Dagon is the equivalent of Beelzebub for judo-christian mythology. And in that folklore, Dagon has a son named Bal. So, it could be concluded that, depending on the mythology and canon, Beelzebub and Bael could be the same exact demon, or two completely different demons. If Bael is separate from Beelzebub in Helluva Boss' head-canon, then she is not part of the Goetia, as her having a sigil/seal does not imply that she is a goetic demon. The majority of non-goetic demons in judo-christian mythology have sigils too. Lucifer has a chalice shaped sigil, and Leviathan has the famous "Leviathan's Cross'". All and all, Vizzie could be making her own head-canon, where Beelzebub and Bael are separate, but both part of the Goetia family. We will have to wait and see! :}

Beelzebub being a "fly disguised as a bee" sounds to me like a Hoverfly, a type of fly that mimicks the looks and even the behavior of bees and wasps as a form of camouflage to avoid potential predators by making them think they can sting.

I don't know about anybody else but I kinda like Queen Bee's design as the design shows you don't have to be over-weight when it comes to gluttony. The gluttony thing could be being able to eat without getting full or anything.

I had a hermit crab named Baal he was huge he was probably bigger than a soft ball. He was so friendly and would come right to you for snuggles. He was totally a gentle giant. I loved him so much and I miss him deeply.

It is possible that Belphegor will be sent to the fire show. Since in the finale of season 1, during the song, one of the dancers gave out a flame from behind her mouth. Probably on him, since I'm not sure that she will send magicians to the performance. It's so simple a couple of theories on what she or he may refer to in the future.

(i'm waiting to watch the video I haven't seen it yet though) Baal was a god all on his own yes, beelzebub however from historical understanding is supposed to be play on said god made by christianity to mock it. Thus the jokes that Baal attracted flies thus beelzebub was the lord of the flies because bulls attract flies (much ado becasue of their defecation) So in one way yes you can say the aren't the same, in another since christianity became dominant (and since we have leviathanin here who is ALSO not supposed to be a ruling demon of hell) you could say was taken in by christianity and instead adopted a form they saw as suitable ot fit in.

The point cartoon universe was trying to make is that both the ideas of demons named: Baal and Beelzebub is from christians/jews demonising and mocking the same god: Ba'al. Ba'al means lord and was used the name or title of a pagan god. Just like the godess Ishtar was in retellings by christians/jews twisted into Ashtaroth a demon. Ba'al was twisted into two demons Baal and Beelzebub so wizipop combined them back into the same entity since they were both originally slanders of the same entity.

I think each of the seven Princes have their summoning seals just like the Goetia, since both Asmo and Bee have had theirs displayed. But Paimon and Stolas have seals as well, despite not being Sins but Goetia.

Þe seals are unique to þe Ars Goetia, while I’ve never seen a sigil specific to þe Sins. Bael/Beelzebub and Asmodai/Asmodeus are þe only demons - as far as I could find - to be boþ a Sin and a member of þe Ars Goetia, so I’m not sure what Vivzie’s plan is for þe rest of þe Sins, like Satan, Leviathan, and Belphegor.

I speak Hebrew, Baal means owner (בעל), zebub translates to fly( זבוב), technically its owner of flies, not lord, however in old hebrew text owner is a word used to describe for example "lord of the house"( בעל בית), the word just refers to being an owner of something and that having higher power of some sorts. Husbands are also called by the same word!

But considering the top hat, the fancy suit, the rooster tail looking like coattails, the smoke and mirrors, and the fact that Fizz kinda serves as a magician's assistant/white rabbit, Asmodeus is much more like the magician of the troupe rather than just a dancer.

In flight the primary and secondary wings hook together and function as single wing, moving in perfect sync so much so that you can’t tell them apart even when viewing in slow motion.

I’ve researched about Ba’al and Beezlebub months before this episode released and I even pointed out on my Instagram when it did release about the similarities between Beezlebub and Ba’al! But when I did it I did it in terms of polytheistic beings since Ba’al was the name of a bull headed god worshiped in Canaan who demanded live children sacrifices and Beezlebub was also a god from Palestine, but they were both classified as demons that was acquainted with each other

Beelzebub being furry but not canine like hellhounds definitely reminds me of MLP griffons: when they returned in season 5, a lot more creativity was put into their designs by making them any hybrid of cat and bird, instead of specifically Eagle and lion. While we haven’t seen anything like that aside from comparing the queen of Gluttony to her subjects, it’d certainly be interesting to see in hellhounds. That said, Vivzie’s been killing it with even background character designs, so mixing other furry stuff in wouldn’t be necessary like it was for griffons.

In my opinion it seems like your hiearchy theory of kings, princes etc. in the ars goetia might also apply to the different species that the ars goetia has. So for example despite both being kings, bee could be lower on the heirchy than paimon because she is similar to a hellhound (i know she is a fox but this is just my theory).
