well . . . alrighty then! listing IBU seems to be kind of an 'IPA-centric' thing . . . what about original gravity? along with an indication of ABV, that's something that will give you an idea of how attenuated your beer is, which will influence flavor, and this is applicable across all styles. IBU is useful in a beer whose flavor is dominated by a combination of malt and hops, but belgians are yeast-dominated flavor wise. why worry about IBUs with them?
