The coda in the final movement is one of the most drastic endings to any piece of classical music in its history!

@jndillaha Beethoven's reach stretches across the entire 19th Century for me, and then Debussy and Bartok came along and went a different way (Bartok was a huge Beethoven fiend tho, just like Brahms - but much crazier). Right now I'm working on Bartok String Quartet 1 (which is a tribute to Beethoven's quartet Op 131) and also Beethoven's Violin Concerto.

@jndillaha Thanks for your comments. Yeah LvB is my fav by a HUGE margin, but after him I love Bartok, Debussy, Prokofiev and Stravinsky (but just the early stuff). I'll be posting analysis videos of all those other dudes too. I have 2 by Bartok up already and am getting kicked in the ASS by the one I'm workin on now.

@lvbandmore i agree, beethoven's influence can be seen throughout the entire 19th century. i was referring more to the form and style of the music of beethoven's time compared to later in that century and the next.

@lvbandmore im not sure this would help raise the collective IQ of the human race if justin bieber fans viewed this. there is a reason they are bieber fans and i dont believe that condition is mutable except in only the most extreme circumstances. your videos are great by the way. when i first started listening heavily to classical music, i found it easier to digest a piece when i knew the form and your videos provied a unique way to absorb the music visually and audibly. nice work.

@lvbandmore by the way, i thought i read in a comment you posted that you were mainly interested in beethoven and that is why you most mostly beethoven videos. correct me if i am wrong. but i was once a strictly beethoven guy. im not sure why, i think its because once i understood the style he wrote in, it became easier to understand all his other works and other composers seemed somewhat intimidating. if that is true about you, you should listen to some brahms and maybe post some videos.

@lvbandmore wow, i find it peculiar that beethoven is by far your favorite and the other ones are so similar to one another in style but so different from beethoven. it is probably good that you like those guys from the 20th century. i sometimes find it hard to wrap my mind around them. im more into the romantic era but i do really like debussy and stravinsky. what one are you working on now?

@jndillaha Since Beethoven composed about 90 CD's worth of ridiculously awesome music I don't listen have time to listen to too many other people from that period. 20th Century music I like to listen to because it's so different - but has the same revolutionary spirit.
