I was born in 1985. Beetlejuice came out in 1988. I was lucky enough to have seen it in theaters. I remember it vividly. Especially when beetlejuice ate that fly by tricking it with that zagnut candy bar.

It’s a really fun watch. Great cast, premise and design. Totally Tim Burton. It’s cartoonish with some mild gore sprinkled in and funny. Loved Gina Davis in it. This proves she can do anything. Keaton has great lines and is great as the titular character. Sure he has little screen time but he’s the ghost with the most. A must see if you like interesting, creative movies.

I was born a year before this came out and i seen it for the 1st time when I was 5 and it became my favorite movie. When my dad would take me to the video store to rent a movie I always grabbed beetlejuice and Childs play. To the point where my dad would be like no more beetlejuice or chucky when we got there 🤣 eventually he bought me both movies for Christmas so I wouldnt have to keep renting them I remember that being a really fun moment of my childhood

Back when I first saw this movie, I rented it from Hastings. I remember watching the trailer first. Then I watched the movie itself. My life changed forever. This was before Beetlejuice the Musical, and I didn't even know a cartoon existed. I guess I got an old copy from the early 2000's as opposed to a remaster or a anniversary edition, so it didn't have the three episodes from the cartoon like the new ones do
