Since there is no front door visible or windows in the front of the house, you should have painted the brick a different color of just pressure washed it to clean it up. All white doesn't give any interest for curb appeal. There needs to be more shrubs or plant in the front because there are bare areas! Curb appeal is so important & you could have sealed those cracks in the driveway if you weren't going to put a new one in!

What flooring was used in the living room? Although the front doesn't have a window, I don't like bedroom windows on the front of the house. Actually the sink and a half is nicer than the double. Doubles are known for sloped bottoms, you cannot set a tall glass in them, and if you have a large pan or kettle to clean , it difficult to do, and messy. Right now I have a German made stainless sink that has one large deeper sink and one smaller not as deep, for the garbage disposal. Works well, much better than a double sink. The outside of jouse looks really good but i really liked the yellow kitchen in before pics. Also the fireplace was fine before. The brick you cut out was where people put up a wood holder either round or rectangle...so you dont have to go out in the cold so much. The tile you put up looks like a bathroom floor. People used the middle part to hang large pics. Why does everything older always have to be considered outdated. Sometimes people like older designs. The rest of the house looks good in the after pics.

Possibly unpopular opinion but I think the brick ledge surrounding the fireplace should not have been removed. The house had started with a warm feeling, almost arts and crafts. You could have worked off of that with some pretty wood work, and with that you wouldn't need to repaint the brick (although a red stain would really help it) love the kitchen, but maybe more wood stain. The floor was really nice, though. White wash, though, makes the house feel so cold and uncomfortable, while warm colors create a welcoming feeling, along with proper wood work.
@AustinFlipsters5 жыл бұрын
Yeah definitely could have gone with a cozier vibe. Thanks for watching!

@@AustinFlipsters of course! And amazing job at leveling the floor, definitely a difficult thing to do considering concrete flooring. Also loved how u opened up the living room. Thanks for the comment! That was cool! 😁

I am so glad you guys are not afraid to paint over things. This brick looks a thousand times better white than it did before. For some reason people have been told that painting over brick or wood or whatever is a sin. I’m glad you two are rebels!

Definitely agree need a double sink in kitchen. I do not get the new farmhouse sink craze that has just the 1

Hi, love your videos but am wondering why you don't ever fix the driveways that are always in bad shape. A real turn off to new buyers.

You guys should also create a associated playlist with each flipped project, showing how the repairs progressed on each day or two, what challenges you guys faced with and how you resolved it. I bet you guys can be a next prime time show and your show could surpass the American restoration..are you guys ready to challenge the Rick Dale..

Would have loved to see a big window in front and darker grey on the garage doors.

Looks great but I would suggest painting the garage doors a darker color and maybe adding decorative hardware.

Houses in austin getting really expensive in comparison to near by states. Tx housing used to be way cheaper few years ago
@zaidchalabi15994 жыл бұрын
Daisy true but also pay increase isnt linear to prices. when house go up 5-6k in value in 1 year, paychcek didnt increase that much if any. so that create huge problem. i mean now adays its normal to see people working 60-80 hrs a week which also leads to bad family life, divorce, health issues. the whole country is going downhill....

House renovation and flipping is easy when you've got a dedicated, trustworthy and hardworking team of skilled tradesmen. Great transformation on this house as always, would like to have seen the fencing in the back garden renewed and a window put in at the front but I get you need to weigh up the renovation costs vs the ceiling price of the property.

when installing floors and you have multiple lots, it is generally recommended to intermix to prevent striking diferences. but it still looked decent in the video

fireplace came out good, the old one is a 70's kind of spanish effect. Only thing I would have done is make the shelf topper the same size across as the fireplace , its smaller . Kitchen looks great, like the big sink, you can actually get griddles and large pans in the sink to wash. Once I moved temporary to a Townhouse, waiting for someone to get out of my house, I was going to move into( nightmare) and had a double sink, awful hated it. Plus its a great place to wash my Dachshund LOL one of your best houses,
@AustinFlipsters5 жыл бұрын
We didn’t even factor in Dachshund washing when picking the sink! 😂 That’s a great use for a single basin!
